My fingers are crossed that you don't get pregnant again soon...that is, unless you want to :)Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15167781724086312806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3970661341243634764.post-55949672143715776062009-11-01T20:51:14.400-05:002009-11-01T20:51:14.400-05:00Yeah it's safe to say she's not "resp...Yeah it's safe to say she's not "responsible" in general. She's nice and she does mean well but she is a young single mom... who is a young single mom due to some bad choices involving a guy who was "what can I say?... he was hot" (literally what she told me about the father). She was in the Navy up until she had her baby. Now she's out and you can tell there is a serious adjustment for her in living a normal non-Navy life.Mrs Furioushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18082932653215907248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3970661341243634764.post-7323934648073065032009-11-01T20:43:00.702-05:002009-11-01T20:43:00.702-05:00I'm with the others on this. I guess at least she knew she was in no condition to care for her child.

I thought it was strange she was bringing the child over at 9:00 PM to start her evening. What is she in college?!

Poor baby. Poor Mrs F.

Also, what the heck else are you going to say to her? Um, no, drunk lady, you have to come and get our baby now. I find that really inconsiderate of her. My employer pays time and a half for overtime. If you go by my employer's policy, this means you should get 126.00 for just the night!!! I'm watching him tomorrow so we'll see. I usually get 7/hour from her. I made it clear he was up all night and she did feel really bad about that. I'm hoping she gives me $100. Technically she owes me $84.

She also still smelled of alcohol (like her skin... not breath) this morning. So she would have been in NO condition to care for him last night.
He is an infant. He requires night care. I felt bad for him last night too because he is actually a pretty easy going baby but once he woke up he was so over stimulated being here and not at his own house/bed that I could not get him back to sleep for hours. I'm like a zombie today.Mrs Furioushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18082932653215907248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3970661341243634764.post-35527717873438320692009-11-01T14:35:14.948-05:002009-11-01T14:35:14.948-05:00I can't imagine calling at midnight and asking...I can't imagine calling at midnight and asking a sitter to keep my kid overnight! Although if I were the sitter, I wouldn't say no either, as you said, there is probably a reason she was asking and not a very responsible one.
