When I Said I'd Get Back To You Later

I guess I meant later later.

I can do all of this. All of it. It is just the showings that push me over the edge. It's a lot of work by myself, especially since every showing happens when I'm watching the baby (what is with that?!). Which means one extra human to try and care for and quickly clean up after all while trying to leave the house spotless and on time. It's rough. I need 8 hands and I only have 2.

Oh and another light bulb blew this morning. 15 minutes before our showing. So you know what I had to do:

At least this fixture hangs down a good bit from the ceiling. It was a lot less scary (still scary) (especially scary because it is so fucking ugly...)

P.S. Mr F, yeah I am not ever going to go to the garage and carry and 8 foot fiberglass ladder all around our muddy yard to the front door and then into the house. You are smokin' crack. I'd rather break my arms and legs than contemplate that 1/2 hour maneuver first thing in the morning. Especially when I only have 15 minutes to pull it off.

Sorry peeps, this week has sucked the life out of me. Maybe I'll be back to something remotely interesting next week?

Where In The World Is Mrs F?

I'm here. Things are going on.

On top of that Baby has not been sleeping and it's running my ragged.

Oh and there is the bake sale stuff I need to make this week (why oh why did I overextend myself?!!)

And there is stuff.

Some of it deep, some of it petty... it all depends on how you look at it I suppose.

Either way I'm feeling misunderstood and kind of trapped in a label someone else has assigned.

You know how sometimes no matter what you do, or say, or feel some people will just always see it as something else?

And it's like no matter what you do, or say, or feel you can't change their perception of what they think you did, or said, or felt?

Yeah. I'm there.

    Because It's Almost Mother's Day

Yesterday my best friend sent me a link to one of the funniest sites I've been to in awhile.
It's called Postcards From Yo Momma...
And yes it is just as funny as you imagine it will be.

Here's one of the humorous gems I stumbled upon last night....

    nasal irrigator

In other news, your father asked me this morning if he could borrow my nasal irrigator. I got very excited, thinking he was being pro-active in fighting the cold that’s got him sniffling non-stop already. Turns out he just wanted to use the irrigator to inject jelly into the croissants he was baking. I could write a fucking book.

I’ve got to buckle down now and read this new script.

Sounds like something I would write to Kid in a few years....

    This Week The Plan

    Okay... here we go

Last week was pretty much a blur with all the party planning and costume making. I still have to make Kid's birthday cake and get her treats for her school party but it is all pretty manageable so I am surprisingly not too stressed.
I can't even remember what last week's menu was.. I do know I thawed some salmon that I never got around to making ...the throwing out of food seems to be creeping back in on a fairly regular basis so I'm hoping to get a little more serious with this week's plan. Also I've been eating like shit for the past week... after Wednesday I'm getting rid of all the candy and no more cake! Not only is my weight up 2 pounds but I am bloated and feel terrible... (could it be that I forgot to drink water all weekend?!?)
I've also been kind of slacking off with the exercise. I did meet my 3 hours of cardio goal but that is really not where I want to be at. I'm still shooting for ultimate fitness so I'd like to see double that when possible.
Enough blabbing.. here is my plan:

    Menu:

Monday - Salmon Noodle Casserole & applesauce

Tuesday - Shrimp & Vegetable Fried Rice

Wednesday - Pork Tenderloin w/ green beans & rice pilaf

    Thursday - Beef Stew

    Friday - Pizza Night

    Saturday - Go out

    Sunday - Leftover Stew

    Exercise:

I'm shooting for three 60+ minute sessions on Monday, Saturday & Sunday. I'd also like to do three 30 minute interval sessions on Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. Usually I walk and alternate my incline every 1.67 minutes from 0% to 8% incline. For the intervals I am going to alternate 1.67 minutes at 12% incline with a longer rest of 3.33 minutes at 0% incline. I actually did this for the full hour tonight... so I'm probably going to be a little sore tomorrow! Hey I'm an overachiever what can I say?

    Cleaning:

The good news is my house is really clean from the party :) I just need to do the laundry.

    Extra crap:

Write thank you notes w/ Kid (should be fun)

Make crazy cake with the "teen doll" in it (I'm not using the recommended pan so this should also be fun)

Update Kid's Memory Book ( I write down all her funny quotes and I need to compile them and also give the general overview of where she is at developmentally and what she is like.... so there is a little bit of pressure involved with this)
