Highbrow Lowbrow

Mr F and I have been really enjoying the current Masterpiece Classic miniseries on PBS.

You can watch the first couple of episodes of Downton Abbey HERE.

It really is fantastic.

I mean it.

In other news, I made my first home shopping network purchase.

I never thought I'd see the day.

But due to an inappropriately sexual commercial I was forced to quickly change the channel.

Fate led me to view Debbie Meyer's Green Boxes on HSN.

I debated it for a few minutes, but when I saw the fruit & veggie side by side shot... well... I was sold.

I mean it was AMAZING.

I've been watching some of Downton Abbey as well. It's really good!

I also saw it just after seeing The King's Speech, so its mushed together in my mind a little with Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush being awesome.

So many people are raving about DA this week that I have just ordered the DVD. Did you know they cut 2 hours for the US market (PBS USA thought Americans couldn't follow the plot complexity). Almost makes up for not being able to watch your link (I'm outside the geographic restrictions...).

Elizabeth,
Oh I've been wanting to see The King's Speech.

G,
Oh it's good. I can't believe they cut 2 hours.... ridiculous.
I am also watching Bleak House on Netflix.

Let us know what you think of those green boxes! I'd be interested to hear if they are worth it. My produce seems to spoil quickly in the fridge too.

I'm watching Downton Abbey too and I LOVE it!!! P.S. If you download the FREE PBS app to your iPhone you can watch it there too.....not all eps so don't get too excited, but still fun stuff on there. Oh, have you found Project 365 app on there, it's free and the theory behind a photo a day....I LOVE that one too.

Sorry this turned into an app ed!!
