Breaking News!

Someone from the BBC contacted me today and asked if I'd do a video on roasting and slicing Turkey to be used on a food segment. Apparently I "come across well on camera"... well we've all known that for some time now ;)

That's so exciting!

I KNEW you were going to become famous once the mainstream media discovered you!

Don't forget us little people when you start partying with Oprah and Gail...

How funny!! How did they find you? (I know from your blog, but how did they discover your blog.)

"Don't forget us little people when you start partying with Oprah and Gail..." yes!

Haley,
If having a weird YouTube segment on a british cooking show doesn't spell fame I don't know what does! ;)
Now to figure out how to actually cook and carve a turkey...

Robin,
I have no idea. He found me through YouTube not the blog... must have been searching for cooking videos.

Dude!! You hit the big time. Make sure you wear a solid color - pink is a good one one you. And wear a little makeup. :)

Mrs Furious said...

Heather,
light pink or dark pink?
I'll be wearing my apron too.
Hey I do have a real chef's coat... and pants... and hat ;) That would be hilarious!

Emily,
wouldn't it be cool if it actually parlayed into something?!

HC said...

Ooo... you could talk like the swedish chef...

"Orka borka borka... turkey... YA YA YA!!" and wack a frozen turkey with a rolling pin. :)

Mrs Furious said...

Haley,
LOL... that would be hilarious

Robin said...

Ahhh, that makes sense.

Haley, God, I seriously laughed out loud on that one!!

Wow that is so cool! Mrs. F on the British channel. That is the British channel isn't it?

Mr Furious said...

Too early to start shopping for houses in Europe?

Mrs Furious said...

Tiffany,
Yes that's the British channel... but if it makes it on it will be the one in England not the American version.

Preppy Mama,
I'd hold of on that until we see if I actually can roast & carve a Turkey ;)

Mr F,
It's never too early for that.

I say dark pink, as long as it's not crazy bright fuschia.

At home dermatology has got to be better than my "Shear Genius" moment when I cut my own bangs...

Haley, I am laughing so hard tears are rolling down my cheeks, I loved that Swedish chef, mostly cause I am Swedish.

Okay I am completely addicted to the BBC and this only confirms that is the most wonderful channel on tv, the fact that they recognized the star that lives inside Mrs.F!!!

Mr F, you'll need to shop for a loft in Brookyln and a FLAT in London, you'll be international Furious'!!! So awesome!!

Shirls said...

congrats! but the line "at home dermatology" now that cracked me up...

How exciting! So are you having turkey for dinner this weekend? :)

I can't get the Swedish Chef hum out of my head! ARGH!

HC said...

Who knew there was an underground swedish chef appreciation society??

I love it!

Pigs in Space always kind of did it for me, too. :)

Very Cool. Keep us updated!!! Good luck!

Awesome! You'll have to link to it when it airs!

Mrs Furious said...

I'm hoping if it turns out and they use it that there'll be someway for us to see it. Otherwise I'm gonna need the Brits out there to tape it for me!

ohmygosh! That is so exciting!
(another swedish chef fan...that made me laugh out loud haley...)

Mrs Furious said...

Katieo,
Of course I'm way over stressed than necessary and keep calling Mr F with more "Turkey Crisis" updates. Last time we talked I was saying how I really hoped this was legitimate... and then we laughed about how funny it would be if some random guy was just going to put my video on his blog with a tag like "look what I got this gullible idiot to do this weekend"

I always knew youd be famous, this is way cool!

P.O.M. said...

You just took "famous" to a whole new level! Will you get paid handsomly for this gig? Think of all the Target trips in your future!! FUN.

PS: I think an apron with NO pants under would be hilarous and nobody would know!
