"Baby turned off my radio!" Kid yells running into the kitchen.
"I'm going to kill her." Mrs F replies deadpan, without looking up from the recycling.
"Grab the sharpest knife in the drawer." Mr F says to Kid mid dish wash.
Kid turns around and sulks back to her room.
"Sarcastic parenting is the best kind of parenting." Mrs F says to Mr F.

I need to take a page from your book. My oldest 2 are fighting ALL the time, and now, even the 21 month old is chiming in. The only one who doesn't involve themself in the cycle of fight, tattle, whine is the 8 month old. By the end of the day they have me wanting to pull my hair out and run screaming into the night. I will definitely be trying the sarcasm. It comes naturally to me anyway!
sounds totally like something my parents would have said for the same reasons, I love it - well now I love it at the time I wasn't as receptive or as appreciative of it ;0)
Glad to see they are adjusting so well to the new house!
Um, yeah, Murphy gets the sarcasm, but he would probably actually do it and then blame us because we told him to.
