Mr F got up in the middle of the night (I'm assuming to go to the bathroom) and then started playing Angry Birds for several HOURS. At like 3 AM.
Not that I didn't use his phone (his job gave him one last month... which of course spurred all this on) to play Tiny Xmas Chef for the 12 hours straight we were driving back from PA.
I'll be interested to hear how you like sparkpeople -- I found it really helpful in losing weight, but it depends on how much structure you desire. Now that I've put a few back on (10 of the 30 I lost), I'm gearing up to get back into it again. :)
Sorry, Mom, you need a touch screen to play... although I can assure you, you wish you had one to help get you through this week. Maybe you can play it on your kindle?
HC, I'm liking the iphone app for keeping a food diary, much better than my other failed online attempts. I also like the little graph they give you counting down how many calories I have left. I'm definitely happy to be able to keep track without cluttering up my desktop or email to do it. I hope I keep it up... I need to lose 14 pounds to get back to my preferred low weight. And it is all fat, baby.
Oh yes, I am so psyched that you guys have an iPhone....you know how much I LOVE MINE!!!! There are couple of apps that I use for weight loss that have helped too....I'll e mail them to you, plus get MIss Spell for spelling....LOVE it, Ken and I play it all the time and there is a FREE version!!!
Smitty has an IPad and can play cut the rope for hours straight and now has Smitty Jr. hooked on it. Nothing like a 5 year old begging to play on the IPad. But I will say listening to him and his brothers imitate Om Nom while eating dinner is a little bit worth it (it gets food in their mouths!)
This has nothing to do with spelling, but the game that has my full attention is Isaac Newton's Gravity. I don't know if it's available for the iPhone. I play it on our iPad.
Moving on from my addiction and to my kids':
Wordex Apple Tree Shake and Spell Tap N Learn FirstWords (more for Baby) Super Why (probably for Baby)
The one we don't have, because it's a little old for my crew is My Spell Test (the name bugs me, but whatever). I don't know if it's good, but I've heard it is.

hahaha! I LOVE Cut the Rope!
(that little green Om Nom totally reminds me of Seth.)
My kids grab mine and head straight for Cut the Rope. We have some fun spelling apps she might love, too.
