9:30 AM

This morning Baby climbed back in bed to play quietly, snuggled up to her sleeping big sister. And it was just about one of the cutest things I've stumbled upon.

It warms my heart to no end, to bear witness to their love and comfortability with each other.

This is why I do what I do.

There is nothing better than visible proof of sibling love.

That is love right there. So sweet.

Oh I get this.

I remember after my dad died my sisters all converged here as quickly as they could and we spent the night all four of us curled in bed with our mom in the middle, as if our collective bodies could somehow shield us from all the outside awfulness.

That memory, instead of making me sad always brings me comfort. They are my safe harbor, my touchstones and their faces bring me our entire childhood....your girls already know it-what a gift.

I forgot what I was going to say, because Kiki made me cry.
