How in the world do you stay so thin when you bake all the time? There isn't enough time in the day to exercise as much as I would need to if I baked. Grrrrrr.

I don't bake and I can't even get thin much less think of trying to stay thin! lol. Double grrrr to that Robin and Mrs. F.

Triple to your Mr. F!

And also, can I just say that not only am I not at home baking, I am at stupid work and I stepped on my stupid lunch and squished my stupid sandwich and my stupid pretzels. Trying to avoid the hot dog and tatertots the school is offering for lunch, went to the "healthy vend" and got a bagel .. which I just F'ING BURNED. Not my day ...

Oh! I almost forgot, I was at the mall this weekend and found that weighted vest thingy at Dick's Sporting Goods and it was $119.00. Which I thought was kind of alot, but it's a start.

And if you do a google search for it, don't type in just Dicks because you will get lots of things you don't really want to see. Or maybe you do ...

What Mrs F fails to mention in her post is that for years I have been talking about these Sweet and Tart muffins that I used to buy on my way to work at my first real job (in the early 90s) and have searched fruitlessly for them ever since...

So on the very day I step on the scale and see a "183" staring back at me (not good) and declare, "Time to get my shit together!" Mrs F bakes these...

Jennifer,
First let me say where have you been? I have missed you!

then LOL on the Dick's! LOL!
So did you go ahead and get it? It sounds like a lot but you can use it indefinitely.

Robin,
I can't bake as much as I want. And I try to be careful about not baking things I lose control around (unfortunately this might be one of those things...).

Mr F,

Mmmm! Mr F can start his diet when those bitches are gone!

Danielle,
At the rate we are inhaling them that won't be too long!

I make these all the time. Not even too terrible fat wise. heh. I do not add the orange stuff though, I am not a fan of orange in anything, just alone.

hehehehe

As a rather portly muffin lover, I'm gonna give these a go. And I have to say Mr F. baking is the sweetest form of revenge.

My dear husband wont know whats hit him.

Mwaaaaaahahahahahahahaha!

hmmm....i will NOT be making those. I have no willpower against baked goods. They look really good though.

You guys are too funny. Nolan is the same way, he complains if I don't make him treats but then he accuses me of trying to sabotage his weight loss efforts when I give in to his whining for goodies. He really wants to believe he can eat whatever he wants in quantities big enough for 3 people like he did when he was a teenager and just exercise a bit to stay skinny. Hello Mr Williams, your belly says otherwise...;)

Cara,
It's true if you can stick to one they aren't bad for you at all. Of course I did have 3 ;)

Thea,
LOL... Yes, I like your competitive spirit! ;)

Julie,
I have to say... they were a mistake. Muffins are just one of those things that go down so easy you don't "feel" the calories!

Emmy & Michelline,
Oh this is definitely a circumstance of damned if I do damned if I don't!
And I didn't even know he started a diet (and I'll believe it when I see it!).

Emmy,
I ordered the oil (I have lemon, orange & lime) from King Arthur but I think they have them at Whole Foods. They are just like zest and I use them that way without having to do any labor. The flavor is so true it is unbelievable. I add it to cakes & cookies all the time. Really worth getting.
