Oh Good Grief

Today was a two shower day.
You know the kind where you take one shower in the morning to get clean... and another one... later... so that you don't kill somebody?

Yeah that was me this evening.

"I'm taking a shower. You guys are driving me crazy." Mrs F mutters as she approaches the bathroom.

"Prepare for what you will find in the shower." Kid says ominously

Oh Jesus Christ... what the hell does that mean?!

Oh, the two-shower day...I have had many, many two-shower days and I don't even have any offspring. I get my best thinking done in the shower -- it's like a warm, soapy time-out for grownups.

Oh, now I am curious what was in the shower. I can only imagine.

Shelley,
included in the giant pile of oddities were phones... real working phones of several different models and they were wet. Damn that Baby. When she combines her love of phones & the tub you've got a disaster on your hands. Also a tape measure, fork, book light.... and more...

Haley,
Oh totally. The shower = time-out

That Baby. They are so funny aren't they?

I responded to your question on my blog. :)

You know what is funny...
Mr F is always like "did she really say that?" and I'm like "YES!". He always thinks I take some poetic license to amplify the situations. Drives me crazy.

Mrs. F, Ken's dad was a professional housepainter, he would keep leftover paint in the basement of their home and Ken got into it early one morning. Ken's mom awoke to the sounds of a paint roller, loaded with paint, going back and forth over the keys of their piano. Ken had a love of getting onto everything as a child... so stop by if you get a chance, I have had success...you will laugh for sure!

Kiki -OMG. I would have killed him!

My jaw is hanging open... she is a riot!

Long showers and endless hours of sleep are the two things I miss most now that I'm a parent. Good for you for getting another shower in, even if it was a survival shower.

What I think is hilarious is kid waiting for the perfect moment to let you know the deed...perfect timing to send you over the edge...kids have that knack don't they.

I love your kids...the combination of personalities cracks me up. Easy for me to say thousands of miles away:)

Yikes! When do we find out what was in the shower???

Ooh, and thanks for your counseling. Sound words! I had to take the post down because of "snoops", if you get my drift. It's funny how you don't really know somebody until a crisis hits...then the true colors come out.

Danielle,
jeez.. sorry to hear about your unwanted comments/visitors! I really hope you're doing well and wish you all the strength you need as you move forward.
(multiple phones, fork, tape measure, soap dish, conditioner, book light, etc.... and all were wet due to the near constant drip of that faucet)

P.O.M.,
Kid often says she's going to start going Online for me when she's 7... so you only have 1.5 years to wait!
