May I suggest you explore THIS for a bit.
UPDATE:
Oh Sweet Jesus... as if that weren't enough... it turns out they now live full time in a biodiesel fueled RV. While I'm slowly introducing solids (aka letting the kids watch unlimited TV on a towel covered couch surrounded by plastic tubs) I'll surely be obsessively reading this family's accounts of their journey and life on an RV. I'm loving it.
If you thought what they did with a 300 sq ft apartment was amazing... look at what they did to their RV.
Mr F... be afraid be very very afraid... I might have bought an RV by the time you come home tonight.

Kindred spirit...Ask my husband...I warn him all of the time that I am going to buy an RV. I would be happy to go gypsy and just tour the country...seeing different places.
Let's do it! We can caravan!
that link to the small house pictures was freaking amazing, hubby and I once lived in 350 sq feet for 3 years, I couldn't wait to get the heck out of there, maybe if it looked as good as this place I would have found more love for the place ;0)
Shirls,
Well it looks like that had to get out of there eventually too ;)
Looking at that apartment just made me think of how little you really need and how much extra we have. It is really inspiring me to remove some stuff from our space. I also just loved the colorful & cozy feel... who doesn't want to hang out in that space?
that apt. was amazing. It would have been a total pig sty if we lived there.
at first I thought, "300 square feet, there's no way they have kids." then i saw the telltale toy kitchen. i'm amazed and impressed. i guess i shouldn't complain about my 800 sq feet anymore.
MP,
I was thinking of you when I found it.
Julie,
yeah... you and me both ;)
I want to live in that RV how cool is that, I love her obsession with stars I have the same addiction. Hope kid is feeling better.
Oh, I love that house -- that's pretty much exactly how I want to live -- teensy weensy house, bright colors, minimal upkeep.
Andrea,
Yeah Kid is fine... this is exactly what happened a few weeks ago. She wakes up puking and then pukes one more time like an hour later and is done. Last time I got that AWFUL stomach virus 24 hours later so I'm really hoping that doesn't happen again...
Haley,
In my mind that's what I want too... which is why I kind of want to live in an RV since you have to limit things down to do it. I was so surprised (happily) to find that that's exactly what they ended up doing. I'm really thinking on that...
