Merry Christmas To You Too... AKA... Oh No She Didn't

Upon seeing her stocking Kid jumped for joy and squealed a bit..

Then she saw her sister's loot...

"Santa made a mistake." Kid says in complete seriousness.

Let's see...
Kid got an American Girl doll complete with habitat.
Baby got a $15 animatronic baby doll and a box of sugar cereal.

AND KID IS JEALOUS.

Well, we are handing our gifts out one at a time over the course of tonight. LOL..so far, a Screature and a volume one video of the old "Dinosaurs" show has been given, then, a Bumblebee Transformer and volume two..we have a few more things left, but he was happy to just get the first two and thought that was it...and he was still so happy about it. His mom gave him clothes and told him he didn't deserve presents, so..yeah.
Anyway, I will update when we give the others.
I hope Kid and Baby have a great Christmas...did you get anything?

I didn't expect anything, so I didn't get the Hubs anything...but I got an awesome 7 qt crock pot. I had one that was 1.5 qts and it was soooo tiny, and then, I didn't have it anymore. I guess he really was listening when I fussed about that one being too small those years ago? And the times I said I wished I had a crock this past year to make some f my favorite things. I was SO excited.

Merry Christmas. Sorry about kids rxn. Kinda funny but Merry Christmas! Kinda funny but kinda disappointing.

Needed you the other day when my handmixer died right in the middle of sugar cookie making. Luckily M helped me out.

Boys had great day. Nate's Dave thing was silly putty and a book of fairy tales. :-).

Miss you.

Angie,
I think this is the first year where Baby & Kid have crossover interests... so Kid kept having to watch Baby get something she'd like to have too. Money doesn't really matter to her so she couldn't understand that her things were *nicer* than Baby's, etc. I had hoped she'd just be happy and grateful... and she is now that it is the next day. It is the downside of being the older sibling I think.

Belated Merry Christmas!

I've discovered that toys that once held zero value to my son take on great significance the moment my daughter picks them up. Hands down, the MOST annoying thing about having more than one child. So far.
