I think the cookies are awesome and the topper is the beautiful candle centre piece to go with it all :0)

Shirls,
Kid is SO proud that we are using her candle at dinner. I think it might be the first time she has made something that is really useable... it has had a big impact on her.

Gross! My daughter does the same thing. I let her make her "own" cupcakes and cookies.

hahahha. This is the exact reason I don't allow Punk to do cookies or pretty much any cooking with me at his age...it isn't about mess..I could deal with that. No, it is about how he needs to pet the dog in the middle of everything, or lick his hand, or eat off of the utensil he is using, etc...

So, yeah, he made his own cookies this week while he was off of school. He made peanut butter thumbprint cookies filled with grape jelly... They tasted a lot like the little debby pbj cookies without the oatmeal.

They are adorable... What a great job they did decorating the cookies.

Wow... those look great (despite the germs).

I actually had to lecture my grown husband about not grabbing a hunk of cookie dough out of the bowl, taking a bite from it, then putting the remaining handful back in. And, no, he did not wash his hands beforehand. WHAT THE...?

Gosh... I just went back and looked at the girls standing by the tree again, and I can't get over how big Baby is getting! She really was a baby when I started reading you, Mrs. F. Awwww...
