How Many People...
confuse complacency with happiness? As if everything beyond "unhappy" is "happy"?

Good Question
"Do you know who the children of the Earth are?" Kid asks from the back seat.
"Animals?" I reply.
"Animals and us." Kid corrected.
"Humans are animals." I say.
"Yeah I know." Kid says.
After a moments pause Kid adds...
"If we are animals how come foxes can't drive?"

This Week The Plan
I have a LOT of major stuff going on in my head these days. I've been thinking a lot about convenience and entitlement. I've been thinking about how much has changed in regard to these two things in my lifetime. I'll be writing about this or talking about it this week. The whole decision about whether or not to replace Mr F's car is falling smack in the middle of all these thoughts. I'm down with challenging the notion that we have the right to as little inconvenience in our life as possible. Mr F?... well... he's not exactly there yet.
Menu:
A lot of my meals got bumped up from last week since Kid was sick.
Monday - Salmon Noodle Casserole
Tuesday - Ginger & Scallion Shrimp w/ Noodles
Wednesday - Tomato & Meatball Soup
Thursday - Turkey & Black Bean Tacos
Friday - Pizza & Salad
Saturday - Quesadillas
Sunday - Turkey Meat Pasta w/ broccoli & cauliflower
Turns out I've got the stomach virus Kid had last week... so... I'm not making any plans until I feel better

Context
