Vindication

Remember when I posted about how messy the girls were?... only to have it turn out to be the ONE day that they didn't do this to the house....

i love it ! makes me feel normal. also your last meme was very interesting. i didn't get to comment but i enjoyed it. will comment at some point. i did get your email regarding milk allergies. i am convinced it is the yogurt, not giving her any for a while, then I am going to try soy. she eats cheese and eggs daily and that doesn't seem to cause problems. she doesn't drink milk, just water ??? how is that possible.

Hey Feener,
It is perfectly possible she is allergic to something in the yogurt (other than the milk).
Good luck.. I know how frustrating all that can be!

Good god, she's a tornado! Was that Baby F and Kid F, or just Baby F? Her hair is filling in, it appears!

Duuuude... that terrifies me.

Just be glad there aren't 100,000 little legos strewn about like at my house!! Baby F cracks me up!

Heather,
That would be the combined efforts of Kid and Baby... but I will say Baby does the most damage and likes to carry/drop things all around the house. She loves to get into the play kitchen and spew its contents everywhere! And yes Baby's hair is coming in. Thank God... Kid's didn't until she was 3.. for real.

And Deb... you should be afraid.. when Kid was younger it wasn't so bad. Now they feed off of each other like a mess inferno. The house was perfectly clean this morning... within 2 hours it more or less looked like this.

Julie,
"Just be glad there aren't 100,000 little legos strewn about like at my house!!"

Thank God to that! Stepping on a lego is only mildly less painful than stepping on a nail!

OH..Mrs. F...I truly love your blog...I check it multiple times daily. NO joke. Thought it was time I introduced myself! You truly are a badass...in everything you do, especially your commitment to your little babes! I hope to be like you when I become a mother! One who kicks butt at tending her kids, cooking up meals, maintaining her weight...heck, being a badass!

Dear Mrs. Badass, oops, I meant Mrs. F...

I'm right there with ya on the tornadoes that are our kids! Mine are now 4 and 2 and are little bit better about cleaning up after themselves, but from time to time, especially after my husband has been in charge, our house looks just like that and it's usually when I come home from work... it's hard not go mental on all of them:)

Thanks for sharing about your life in the more about me Meme. You are truly and amazing person. I thoroughly enjoy reading your blog:)

Hi eat like a caveman!

Thanks so much!! You sound like my baby sister...

Thanks for commenting, I went to your blog.. wow.. I really respect what you are doing food wise! You are a badass!
And you are in such a great place healthwise at your age.. you will hopefully have all the tools and experience you need NEVER to have to "lose weight" again. Good work!

Hey Kenady,

Thanks for the compliments :)

Do you have a "wacky cake" recipe? It is a chocolate cake that has no diary or eggs in it and uses vinegar and baking soda as a leavener. It gets stirred up all in the pan you bake it in. We actully make it all the time.. it is super moist. I think it is a depression era recipe. I'll give it to you if you don't have it already.

We've got that Thomas the Train Station House thingy too. I HATE putting all the pieces in the top, you have to get it *just* right or it doesn't close...I don't have time for that, lol.

We've got the lego thing going on. Foot torture.

"you have to get it *just* right or it doesn't close"

Yes... I hate it! Also we have the original version when the tracks only go one direction... sucks...now they made new tracks so that you can make circles in both directions...but I'm unwilling to sink anymore money into it!

I thought my house was the only one that looked like that. My son just loves to throw things around, I don't know if its actually playing or trying to get my attention. I think he likes watching me pick up the mess!

Mrs Furious said...

Oh Preppy Mama... you are definitely not the only one!

Wowsers. That looks like alot of work. And I complain about dishes and laundry for 2.

Wow. Just wow. Just think of it this way though, the house will be absolutely spotless for at least a week. :)

And I'll have to post a picture of Tori's room sometime. It looks like a hurricane hit it. We nag her to clean it, but her definition of clean isn't the same as ours!

that's why I don't do dishes or Mr F's laundry! You've got to cut that stuff out NOW!

"the house will be absolutely spotless for at least a week."

that's what you think! this pit was picked up and is actually worse today.. no chance it will be cleaned again before we go!
