Oh I'm Really Glad I Didn't Have To Miss Out On This...

Today was my first post injury workout. It's been quite awhile since I made my nightly trip down to the basement (and through it and out to the freezing garage... but I digress). We've all gotten into the rhythm of my constant presence.

Well it appears that while I was occupied the shit hit the fan.

Don't worry Kid documented it all for us in a pictorial blow by blow...
(You might want to turn you laptop... or your head)
Kid sets the stage with this cover image of Mr F yelling at an unhappy Kid.

Here's where it all begins. Kid is attempting to kick Mr F (see the stick figure lying perpendicular ... yeah that's her kicking). Mr F gets mad at Kid (note the word bubble with "NO")... which of course pisses Kid off.

From right to left (er... bottom to top)... Kid becomes frustrated and hits herself in the legs (yes even I needed that picture explained to me). Then she locks Baby out of her room. That's Baby standing by a closed door.

Kid closes the book not too subtly.

I don't know where she gets it... this need to document the ways in which she has been wronged. Certainly not from me.

The whole story is absolutely hysterical. Kids...

Dana,
I was impressed that she was able to have her bath and the whole fight and make her little book all in under the hour I was gone. Now I know what she can accomplish when she is motivated enough. ;)

Robin,
At least we know she'll never let a man boss her around. ;)

Man, I hate it when I try to kick people and they get all overly sensitive sbout it... :)

By the way, had the wierdest dream last night that adam forced me to move to a crappy apartment in Baltimore, but the bright side was that I realized you guys lived downstairs from us.

Wiiiiiieeeeeerd.

Adam hates Asheville, but likes Baltimore?

The good news is Kid bounces back from this stuff quickly. A couple minutes to decompress in her room and everything's fine and she needs my help with the tape...

That is really funny. I love it!!!!

Hey, how did the workout go?

Mrs Furious said...

Haley,
That would be the best! But lets try and make that a NY building.

Julie,
good. I was able to do an hour I just kept the pace at 2.7 and my inclines under 3%. It wasn't hard like I was kicking my own ass but I felt like I was doing a moderate workout. And I'm not sore at all today... so that's good news.

Mr. F--

Oh no, no -- I don't think he's ever been to baltimore. I think I was just watching too many episodes of ace of cakes before going to bed.

Mrs. F--

Tarrytown, baby!

And I just noticed your budget calculations in the sidebar -- love that.

I was actually thinking about starting a new blog that tracks everything I DON'T buy. Call it something like "Forego" or something. So when I put something back, or drive by a dunkin donuts without buying coffee, I track it and count the savings up...eh, we'll see, I may not have another blog in me. :)

Oh, and I put the first version of my vision board up on the blog!

Haley,
we were married in Tarrytown.
Well Dobbs Ferry.... but our marriage license was from Tarrytown.

I love the forego. That is freaking awesome. I think it would really reinforce how much money you are saving (the money you don't see) by not buying your impulse buys. I might be into that.

Dude, go for it, even if only in a sidebar (which might be where it ends up for me if I get my shit together).

I would have put your tots up on my vision board but there's no way we're ever going to have little blondies running around (unless I get friendly with the mailman).

That is hilarious that she had to illustrate it in order to re-tell it.

Mrs Furious said...

Christy,
It must have been therapeutic for her ... she wasn't mad by the time she finished it.

Haley,
"there's no way we're ever going to have little blondies running around"
Yeah... that's what I thought... damn recessive genes

HC said...

If there's going to be freak gene thing happening we need our kids to be really tall -- adam and I are both wee tiny people who need stools to get through life. :)

Mrs Furious said...

Haley,
LOL
You are talking to the queen of need stools to get through life... I come from a long line of shorties on my mom's side. I was making the kettle corn while standing on a step stool the other night so I could shake the pot without shaking it into my face.
But here's the low down on height... it is actually 8 genes (I think) so you can definitely get a freak tall gene thrown in there.

This is precious....sorry Mr. F!!! Kid is an artistic genius....

Kiki,
agreed :) She has really blossomed with her drawing lately and it is so fun to see!
