Happy Anniversary! Random question: where did you get the stool Baby stands on in the kitchen? It looks very sturdy...has she ever fallen off or anything? (Getting tired of holding my daughter when she wants to watch me cook. Thanks.)
Colleen, It is called The Learning Tower. It has an adjustable bottom so that they can use it even as they get taller. Baby has not fallen out but it would be possible. It is definitely a bit safer as they are older (2+) since a younger child could fall out of the sides. It is still safer than a chair or step stool. We got it years ago and it was a bit pricey. It looks like you can get them in colors now.
Andrea, This year is bronze or pottery. We decided we're going to wait and make a purchase together later on sometime this year. Not very romantic... but... I didn't want to just buy something to buy it. And the prefect thing hasn't come to me yet.
Happy Anniversary! Mr. Smitty and I also celebrated our 8 year this year. I decided to follow tradition and got him a bronze bell. I was afraid he'd think it was cheezy but he actually liked it. Now it hangs on our front porch, reminding us of our love every time it rings (cue cheesy love song...)
P.S. the bell is windcharm sized, not like a dinner bell which is what I started picturing as I typed this.
Mrs Smitty, Yeah I was hoping I'd get to buy bronze numbers for our new house... someplace else! ;) I'm still holding out that that will come true in the next couple months.
Kenady, 2001 was the year of love it seems!
Mom, You do that. We'll be eating dinner with a big platter of biscuits on the table to toast to ;)
We went out to dinner I ordered a weird cocktail... which made me sick... got home and nearly tossed my cookies. I didn't even have 1/2 off it... GAH!!!... why did I order it?!!! And why did I eat a biscuit, 2 pork chops, mashed sweet potatoes, some of Baby's pancakes, banana pudding AND blueberry bread pudding?!! Hmm... maybe that is why I felt sick... ;)

Thanks for the well wishes everyone.
Riding my bike like I did this morning will either kill me or make me stronger!
The question is: are you rooting for 50, or 25?
I love you!
Mr F,
The sooner I can get my RV the better.
