Mrs Furious said...: Yeah it blows. He was there on Friday and they obviously interviewed someone today that they offered the job to. It sucks because you feel like you got so close but there is no runner up prize. It came down to a personal gut feeling of the vice president and not because he lacked the skills. Which is good... but also bad... because you kind of feel cheated. Like if you have the skills and can't get the job... then what are your options. I don't think that money can replace family time. And since Mr. F is getting more hours with less pay-it's not worth it! My advice would be to definitely downsize. I've thought about an RV in the past too with wanting to quit my job. It may not be a reality but there's got to be a way to cut down on costs-and housing is huge.; October 27, 2009 at 8:38 PM
