I'll be chanting that in my head as I fly to Vegas on Feb 1st as a prayer....thanks Baby for my new mantra. ( I have no idea, what movie that quote is from though....is it a kid movie?)
yep Ice Age the Meltdown... or Ice Age the Melt-off as she sometimes calls it ;)
Funny thing about possums. The other day I was watching the end of the Bachelor (I know) and Baby was supposed to be in her bath but came in and was playing while the rose ceremony was on. One girl's name is Rozlyn. When her name was called Baby looked up and said "Hers name is Possum?!" with total disgust.

julie, really? interesting. 11PM brings out the best version of herself. She's great to be around, in a much better mood than she ever is the rest of the day, talkative, helpful, etc. It only happens for her if she gets herself on weird schedule where she crashes into a coma in the early evening and than wakes up a couple hours later and then stays up VERY late. I don't know if it is the novelty of having both of our attention while Kid is not around or what.
i read your bitch-fest friday blog... hoping for great things for you and your family:) i didn't write anything on your site friday-had a great one to share but i was still so angry about it, i could not write about it yet. so i waited until today when it wasn't as fresh and posted it on my blog. thanks though, for always giving us a place to vent!
I so miss those days of the cute little voice... I always tell my oldest he is still my baby, just my big, gigantic baby...and now that his voice has changed (!) he is my big, gigantic baby with a man voice. When I step back and look at him it sometimes catches me off guard. You are so smart to be capturing all the moments with your little ones, what a treasure for you and Mr F.
I also was catching up on Bitch Fest Friday...So glad you had a great day and am hoping all continues to go well. I had a work-related bitch, but sometimes when I look at things I write I realize how long and probably unintelligible my comments get...Nutshell: its great to be brought into and made responsible for an ongoing large project, unless you are being made responsible so they know who they can make work late and on the weekend to bail out this sinking ship! You know in old cartoons where a person's head turns into a lollipop to represent what a sucker they are? I wonder if I look like that... Ugh.
KG, If I knew how to put subtitles on there I would... that's a great idea. I understand her 90% of the time but whatever she said after singing in the beginning I have no clue what it was. Kid can always understand her.
Thanks for the comment. I feel the same way about caring about what certain people think of me that I really don't know/care to be around myself. I am working on it!
I don't know what's funnier, the video or these comments. I am laughing particularly hard at the exchanges between Mrs. Furious and Mrs. Furious and the commentary on the Alanis song, because I constantly correct Hubby about his use of "ironic" versus "coincidence".
Except when otherwise noted all recipes are the personal and creative property of Mrs Furious. Although you are welcome to cook them up and share them with your neighbor.... any attempt to reprint or profit from them is not permitted.

It's from Ice age MELTDOWN (I'm saying it like baby in my head)
Elias's response to watching this video is.. "No way! I don't like possums"
yep Ice Age the Meltdown... or Ice Age the Melt-off as she sometimes calls it ;)

So cute. Oh boy did I need that this morning. Things have been not so cute around here lately.
Oh I do wish I got to stuff pillows with Baby!
Mom?! Is your computer still signed in as me? Otherwise that's a little freaky cause I didn't write that.
Oh and Kiki,
Love the new picture
Well, I'm not Mrs. Furious...but I can't figure out how to get back to myself.

I didn't think to sign you out. All fixed.
Ugh. Still gag at the sound of my own voice on tape...
That's the bitter irony* of Baby. She's only in that good of a mood when she's staying up late—when we wish she wasn't around.
*Mrs F will inform me whether or not that is actually ironic.
not ironic just unfortunate ;)
"some good advice that you just didn't take"... not ironic... just stupid.
"when it rains on your wedding day"... not ironic... just unfortunate.
your statement is actually closer to irony than any of Alanis's.
Now I'm all riled up again about that damn song!
I think we all know what Mrs F's least favorite song of all time is...
People—believe it. She is REALLY riled up!
She's only in that good of a mood when she's staying up late—when we wish she wasn't around. LOL...So true with Murphy, too.

Have a great weekend!
Ok so I have ALWAYS had trouble understanding kid talk. I need subtitles. But still - TOO CUTE!

Gigs,
" he is my big, gigantic baby with a man voice"
Oh that made me laugh so hard!
"they know who they can make work late and on the weekend to bail out this sinking ship! "
Sounds familiar.

She is a little cherub, Mrs. F.
Deb,
Few things piss me off as much as the Alanis song!
