The Reckoning

Holy crap.

I weighed myself today.

I cannot believe it is even humanly possible to gain a pound a day... but... folks... apparently that is exactly what happened while I was away.

It's alright. Maybe that's what I needed.

So eight pounds is now 15 freaking pounds.

Believe it.

Action is now being taken.

Just refresh your memory, I used to look like this in my bathing suit:

I don't even fit in that suit anymore... much less look like that.

I'm bringing it back peeps.

I don't know if this helps, but you aren't alone. My insignificant extra 2 or 3 pounds jumped to 10 pounds seemingly overnight. My schedule for losing it is similar to yours. We can do it! Good luck!

same here..
I am now 15 lbs heavier than I was last year this time. Cant believe it! Doesnt matter how healthy and organically correct food you eat..its all matter of Input shud be less than expenditure! I started last week but loossing is slow process.

Add me to that list. I'm about 13 pounds up from my "normal," and 18 pounds up from my "I like this weight" weight. Ugh. And I cannot seem to motivate myself to do anything about it.

So if you figure out how to get motivated when life is full of turmoil, let us know. I'll be reading.

today I bought some kashi go lean bars and atkins bars... step 1... having snacks that aren't bags of cookies.
Did not workout which was supposed to be step 2... maybe tomorrow? ;)

I think 2 months is good... challenging but doable. Just in time to not humiliate myself in my bathing suit.

Same boat. AFter I crammed and starved to get into that bridesmaid dress, I just let it all go again. I put on my "fat" jeans today and they are TIGHT! WTF?
