This Is It

Moving Day.

Good God.

I kind of want to divorce Mr F right now.

We were up until around 3 AM packing.

And then up again at 7 AM packing.

The movers are there now.

Mr F is.... still.... packing.

Oh the anxiety!

I took the kids out of the house so they won't get trampled.

Back in a few hours to clean.

Look at our empty (God willing!) house.

Comment on it's strangeness.

Shove whatever is left in the crevices of our cars.

Then drive north.

For the last time.

Breathe. Breathe. Oh yeah, Breathe. You are almost at the end of the "race." Keep pushing through - it will all be worth it in the end!

Any crap left over in the last few hours goes in big boxes marked "misc." If those boxes are still full , in the attic in a year and nothing you remember is missing, throw them away.

Problem solved.

I thought of you when I saw this, and I thought you might need a giggle. And, no, it's not an insult that I thought of you.

When things slow down a bit, you must watch The Fabulous Beekman Boys. Must. A reality show, but you won't feel dirty when it's over. Truly fabulous. Oh, and Brent looks like you. Just a little.

Their blogs are also great. Even Mary's, the 4-year old ghost who lives at their farm. http://beekman1802.com/1802-blogs/mary-beekman/mary-and-blackcaps.html
