I just got roped into being Kid's Brownie Troop "Cookie Mom".
I'm already regretting it.
Obviously, the fact that none of the other moms volunteered was a warning sign.
I just had an hour long training... and it still doesn't make any sense.
I've never seen more forms in my life.
The system is frick fracking crazy, and as redundant as humanly possible.

I was going to say, is there a way to order over the internet and give Kid credit. Because I loooooove samoas and thin mints.
i hate to say this but i hard cookie mom is not fun. my girl is in daisys and i was all excited about selling cookies but all the moms voted NO b/c it is a pain in the butt and they don't have to as daisys ....however my cookie love and enthusiasm made me the future cookie mom...lord help me

don't do it. It's crazytown. I can't believe the time commitment involved in inputing all the info on all the forms for the girls (by hand) then getting everything back and putting it all in a computer program for ordering. Did you know that we have to buy the cookies by the case... but sell them by the package... so we own surplus that we then have to sell?! And of course, that is all the cookie mom, figuring out the surplus, getting rid of it, *borrowing* cookies, etc... it's a lot of work and management. I'm shocked it's so complicated. No fun. And of course you know nobody is going to help it along... I'm going to have to hound everyone to turn their shit in and pick up their cookies, etc. Gah!
I will need to purchase some cookies. Kid is going to ROCK this cookie sale.
And you're going to BLOG this cookie sale, and give us all a good laugh (at your expense!)!
