We're heading out to Eastern Pennsylvania today. My Nana and Grandad are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary (they are both nearly 100) this weekend. It looks, for now, that we are going to make it there and back without battling an Alberta Clipper... having done that in the past... I can assure you that is a very good thing.

P.S. I haven't bought any Christmas presents yet. I'm starting to get a little nervous.

If you have a voice recorder of any type, take it with you. Ask your grandparents something about the secret to such a long marriage and record them talking. You'll be so happy you did someday. Safe travels!

Dang 70 years, Have fun. Dont feel nervous I havent bought anything yet for christmas either and Im really not thinking about it much.Sadly we havent even put up our tree. Im afraid too with a puppy and a two year old boy in the house.

Yeah, nervous is the right word..And, it isn't like I haven't had a chance...because I have. I just haven't done it.
I bought some Christmas gifts but we are not putting up a tree and that is causing me some consternation....I've always had a tree....I feel lazy NOT doing it, but work has been CRAY-ZAY!! So I'm trying not to beat myself up and get through what I can....do the same, let yourself up, do what you can and say "no" when you have to...
