Guten Tag

Things are going MUCH better this morning. It is amazing what a little sleep can do for ya! My hand pain is almost all gone.. completely bearable at this point. Thank you to everyone who felt sorry for me....even if you were just feeling sorry for what a complete wuss baby loser I am ;)

So last night I was pretty much hitting the wall and when Mr F called.. I mean I called him to say "where the hell are you"...
He said "I'm walking to the car right now."
I said "run".
He said "what?".
I said "run!" and hung up
I then called the pizza place and ordered us up some delivery.

While I waited for Mr F to come home Kid F took these pictures of me...
Happy Mom

Dead Mom

We also banged blocks together and sang "Mommy wants to die, unh unh, Mommy wants to die".. don't worry I'm not damaging them! As Kid's teachers informed me.. "she has a very adult sense of humor" ... huh... I wonder where that comes from?

That's hysterical. And right there is the reason this Mommy doesn't stay home with her kids. My working keeps them alive and me out of jail. I love them and can enjoy staying with them in measured doses, but would rather slit my wrists then stay home with them full-time.

Cute pictures! And SO glad to hear you're feeling better this morning.

(ps. during your Oprah veg time, did you see that one with Suze Orman?)

michelline,

I always appreciate your truthful parenting responses! When I write this stuff I know some people are probably gonna judge me for it.. but you never do so thanks!

Oh I absolutely adore my kids. And I totally admire those women who have the patience and will to stay home with theirs. But I look at it this way: I have only THIS (holds fingers an inch apart)much patience and I can't afford to waste it on staying home with them :)

So we do fun stuff when we're together. We take trips (if you haven't figured it out yet, Chris and I adore traveling. Doesn't really matter where it is, as long as it isn't home!) and do movies etc. We love to entertain and have several large parties each year (Easter, Christmas, Birthdays, Back to School, etc). I think my kids get their share of mommy and daddy time and know I love them.

I used to get knocked because I worked because I didn't WANT to stay at home. I think one line was "why bother to have them if you don't want to be around them all the time?". Hell! I picked Chris and I don't want to be around him every second of every day. Why should my kids be any different?

Oops... sorry for ranting on your blog :)
