The Donkey Pig

So this is what I've been up to this afternoon...

While the Baby slept I lovingly crafted (okay there were some threats being muttered) this nylon pig as described in one of Kid's books. As soon as I finished... 80 freaking minutes later... Kid (who instead of helping decided to slowly drive me crazy by loudly humming and spreading "fluff" around our house) pronounced... "Mom why did you make me a donkey pig?"

That is so cute! If Kid doesn't want it--I'll take it! Guess what? There is a Cousin Furious! He definitely has his Furious moments--he inherited my moodiness and cranky tendencies--but his Furiousness hadn't occurred to me until this morning when he himself claimed it! He whipped off his hat in the car and proclaimed, "There. Now I can be furious." No kidding. That's what he said!

LOL.. Eileen!

and thank you, maybe I'll send you guys one.. the girls have actually been fighting over it all morning... nothing like a little competition to peek Kid's interest :)

You have GOT to stop doing this kind of stuff. I'm glad my kids don't read your blog, 'cause then they'll know (as opposed to merely suspecting) that are mothers out there who are actually crafty and make their kids stuff. Thereby letting them know they really are deprived.

Seriously, I thought it was the cutest thing evah. And it's obviously a pig.

Thanks Michelline!
I am happy to report that after getting sucked on by the baby the ears are less upright and donkey like!

Your kids don't need nylon pigs they've got a pool, and 5 Christmas trees and Christmas plates for crying out loud! I assure you Kid would trade spots any day of the week!
