I'm going to post a picture of my large ass :-)

I'm also gonna put it out there in case (well I know it'll happen) I get some critisim for this.. they were $9... and the rise is PERFECT... no squishy stretchmarks hanging over the top!

Mrs Furious said...

kind of wish I'd spelled criticism correctly :)
sorry Baby is asleep in the car and I'm rushing!!

Danielle,
I bought 3 pairs.. these are the only ones that don't somehow fit a little weird (ie too hoochy mama, or floods style) $9?!? I'm going back and buying another pair!
and unless your face is abnormally thin for your frame I'm not buying the large ass claims! :)

I'm going to post one...you'll see! I should add that I just ate a half of a pan of Rice Krispies treats. That picture was taken BCC (Before Christmas Cookies)

I just saw the 9 dollar business...THAT is enough to seal the deal right there!

I'm just jealous that you found something that fits and you love! My search for the perfect jean is still ongoing and has been since the second kid... The fact that yours were nine dollars at Target is just icing on the cake. I say get five pairs...you'll still be spending less than you would for one pair of ill-fitting brand name jeans!

you should also check out the kids' section of H & M if they have that store in your area. the kids' section goes up to age 14 and there are some pretty big 14-year-olds out there. i'm 5'6" and can fit into their pants. that sounded rude but it was not intended to beeeeeeeee.

I think the only thing that would fit me in the girl's department is a pair of earrings.

You rock with your skinny self. Is that before or after the Lil Cesaer's Hot-n-Ready?

Christmas tree... baby...

I have 3 kids under 3 (that would be 3, 2, and 1, for those of you keeping count) and our tree is nothing but lights.

I have my great grandmother's antique mercury glass ornaments, and there's no way those little hands will get near them until they're about 20.

That said, I hate you for the jeans thing. I don't care that you don't have an ass. I'm going to start an ass donation clinic and share my gift with the world.
(I've also managed to gain 70 lb from several consecutive years of pregnancy, all of which were on bedrest.) I'm finally just starting to lose it now that I'm somewhat normal (yet still out of my mind.)

By the way... we have uncanny resemblances (except for the rodent thing. Rodents do not bother me.) I actually had to train myself not to use ellipses every four sentences or so. I live near the Amish, buy things from them at the farmer's market (mostly pie), and when I was younger, thought they were groups of "actors" used to get people to visit Pennsylvania... because, why else would you want to go there?

I, too, used to professionally do the cake "thang" and have made several wedding cakes.

I sing sentences. I make up songs (the current family favorite is (when the kids get hurt or have to have hair combed or whatever) "try not to think about it, think about peas. Peas are little, green and round... peas look the same when they're up-side-down. Peas make you happy and they make you feel smart.. sometimes peas can make you fart." Kids think it is abject hilarity when their parents say "fart" for some reason. I don't care. It works.

Anyway, you're my new best friend.

First...
Daniela,
good pea song! We could start a children's musical group and tour the world together!

and 3 kids under 3?!?! Jesus! If I had three pregnancies back to back there is ZERO chance I would be where I am weight-wise right now... well there is one chance... if I was addicted to Meth which surely I would have to be in order to get out of bed in the morning!!

Mrs Furious said...

Danielle,

yeah well my picture is BCC too... I actually thought when I put them on... "they fit... but... I haven't washed them yet... or eaten all the crap yet" we'll see how they fit in 2 weeks. But true enough $9 who even cares if they fit well!

Mrs Furious said...

gigs,
oh I'm going back for more. I don't know if it is because they are kids or what but they are really stretchy... extremely comfortable... if not somewhat strange in the crotch (what do you want for $9!).

Mrs Furious said...

eurydice,

finally feeling settled in to your new place?

we actually do have and H&M... I'll check it out!

Mrs Furious said...

Amy,
lol... well I am VERY short! And I couldn't have either before.

Deb said...

Okay, now you're just annoying me. KID-SIZED JEANS! I need to stop licking so many envelopes and get my ass outside for a walk.

Mrs Furious said...

Deb,
I think the secret is that kids pants are cut wider in the waist so although trimmer in the butt and hips the waist is NOT smaller than a woman's pair (well smaller than some women's sizes... but not all).

I finished addressing yesterday... still need to shove the letters in though!

Robin said...

OK, you suck! J/K, I'm glad you found some you like. They look great and you can't beat the price.

How's baby's butt?

Mrs Furious said...

Robin,
It is possible it is starting to scab over... which I assume is a good sign?!? It makes me wince just thinking about it :(

I have my 10% Target coupon today so I'm heading back when Mr F gets here to get some more!

Mrs Furious,
I absolutely love your blog - I'm so glad I found it but you are really beginning to piss me off! Kids department? You're making it really hard for me to like you. :(
Keep up the good work! Maybe by New Year's you'll be in TODDLER SIZES!

Anonymous said...

i think they are better than the last pair, personally, way better.
ML

Mrs Furious said...

Chrissy,

LOL :)

I just went back to Target (since my coupon is good all day) and I couldn't believe I was buying clothes in the same section I buy Kid's clothes... we could have all matching outfits.. how funny/freaky would that be?!?!

Disappointingly... Target being Target... I came home and the new ones do not fit as well as the old ones... I had some freakishly bigger pair!

Mrs Furious said...

ML,

agreed they are MUCH better. The 2nd pair I bought is a little bit tight..I"m keeping 'em anyway since they are only $9 so who cares...

Unknown said...

hahahhaha awesome!!!

I can fit the tops but I truly doubt the bottoms!

Mrs Furious said...

Cara,
I was wondering if the tops would fit. It might be a bit too boobalicious on me right now!

P.O.M. said...

Dang skinny woman. Hold it one minute! The kids section????

Actually my favorite sweatshirt is a boys Large. I hate that it has a "large" tag (yes, I am loco), so I must always point out that it's a KIDS large. Like anyone really cares, but my psychotic ass thinks it's important to point out.

Mrs Furious said...

P.O.M.

well these are technically a children's XL so you might have me beat!

Heather said...

I thought all of how to respond, and I think I'm going to go with my original though -- ka-pow! Did you feel that? That's me kicking you in the head. :) Affectionately, but still. Damn you and your skinny bitch ways.

Julie said...

I could maybe fit in a "Husky" XL children's jeans...I may not be able to zip the jeans, but the length would be perfect being only 5 feet tall.

That is so funny that you fit perfectly in the kid jeans! They look great on you! What made you decide to try them on?

Mrs Furious said...

I'm guesstimating that they are about a size 2... maybe a little slimmer through the hip and leg. But the waist is actually gaping in the back so they aren't that small around (I'm unusually wide waisted)

But yes the length is perfect. You know how half the time "ankle" length is actually like 6 inches too long? Well these are the exact right length!

I actually thought of it the other day. The other day I was at Target and I was noticing how cute some of the big kids clothes were and I thought you know what a 16 will probably fit... and they'll be cut leaner since kids don't have hips. Now not everything was good... but as I'm sure you've noticed kids clothes are almost exact replicas of adult clothes so most stuff is still cut along the same lines. Plus I'm cheap and lazy and I hate going anywhere but Target... so I tried 'em.

emmyjw said...

That rocks!Thos ejeans look so great on you, Target is the best. I have the opposite problem, 5'10 and short waisted so the rise is never right, plus the whole hide the stretchmark and mommy flab game.I have been trying to find jeans that really fit forever... the last pair I got fit OK at first, now I can take them off without unzipping them... nice in a way but man I HATE shopping. Maybe because I usually have 4 kids in tow? Could be.

eurydice said...

yes, the new place is feeling much more like home. i finally got a couch last saturday.

and i had to "soft paws" my stratchy-furniture-loving" cat.

Mrs Furious said...

emmy,
the pulling off without unbuttoning is EXACTLY my problem! And even with these new ones I can do it already (after a few hours of wearing). It is from the lack of ass I suppose.
5'10" !?! holy crap you are a giant!
And stretchmark mommy flab... oh do I hear ya'!

Mrs Furious said...

eurydice,
what is soft paws?

happy to here you are loving your new place!

Amy said...

good to know! i'm only 5'1" and although i'm a bit heavier than you, do find it hard to find jeans that aren't $400, and are made for the "sexy look". Sorry, I'ma mom, all about function - I dont' need the sexy look. lol

Mrs Furious said...

Amy,
shoot I was a bit heavier than me not that long ago myself!

Unknown said...

I am 5"1 and the pants that I have found to fit me well are gap or old navy jeans, short version.

Anonymous said...

Wow, those jeans look great on you. I can never ind jeans that fit quite right at target and it sucks because target's cheep.

Mrs Furious said...

Cara,

that's what everyone boo'd on me! I had a hard time with the rise on the gap jeans... I need a little more of a midrise.

Jasmine,
these would be too big on you... plus too short. I can see that you would have a hard time getting them long enough and small enough. Are you a 0... or smaller than that? I think I might be between a 0-2 right now (crazy huh)... has your mom ever tried kid's clothes? They'd probably fit her.
