Wow that's a snow fall!!! Great pictures!
The pic of baby on the sled is the perfect xmas card photo. Love the one of kid with her sunglasses on!

Gina,

thanks! Yeah this is one of the biggest all at once snows we've ever had.
As much as I grumbled about Mr F's snow fixation.. I'm actually glad it happened on the weekend or I'd have been snowed in!

Cara,
aww thanks :)
she was very happy out there.. we weren't sure what she would think!

Very cute photos. I think you look great with Kid's hat on...that should be your Christmas card:)

Kid is so cool with her shades on. My little kid always wears his sunglasses. Always.

oh those are Kid's transitions lenses. It seems the cold turns them... which could be a potential problem. They stayed dark for a long time after she came back in.

You've had enough snow to play this!

Such sweet pics, hard to believe that a week or two ago you were wearing a bathing suit in Florida and now you and your fam are waist deep in snow! I love that hat, you look adorable! Do the lenses turn because of the reflection off the snow??? My friend used to get terrible snowburns on her cheeks from the reflection of the sun bouncing from the snow to her cheeks...and now I've gone on too long. 'night.

amy,
lol indeed we do!

Kiki,
good point... I don't know. It wasn't terribly sunny but it is true that the snow would still reflect the light back up. I'll have to test it by having her go out and night and see if they darken or not.

So glad to see this post after the last one. After reading the furious one, I almost wrote that maybe you should go out and do some shoveling or running in the snow yourself, since yesterday I think we *might* have been married to the very same husband, and shoveling our driveway did wonders for my mood. (Hence the very similar pics I put up of our kids bundled up to their eyeballs on sleds.) No matter how livid I am about the enormously long list of things I do that he doesn't, a big pile of snow always brightens my mood. Working really hard doesn't hurt either. According to my calorie counter, I burned 990 calories shoveling show yesterday. So I ate 5 oatmeal cookies. Yum. Okay, now I digress far too much. Anyway, this is to say, glad you're feeling better and hugs from 20 miles east of you, and send my husband back home after you're done yelling at him for not doing any work to prepare for the holidays. :-)

OK, your girls are adorable! Seriously, baby F is a Gerber baby!! She is so striking. :)

Deborah,
hey thanks for outing yourself :) It is so nice to have a name and face to put with the comments!

Mommytime,
it is amazing how many calories shoveling burns... One good thing about winter! And I agree that getting out almost always resets my mood... and you can't not have a good time sledding!
I try not to want to kill him... but there are times when I'm like... "damn you! You get to reap all the rewards with none of the work!"

Mrs Furious said...

Danielle,
oh thanks! :)
Yes we have gotten "The Gerber Baby" a lot with her... I should find a way to capitalize on that!
