I can't see the video now, but I can tell from the other comments that Kid is sick...I'm so sorry. That has to be scary given her history. I'm sending a prayer your way...

Keep us updated as you can, take care of your babies.

I don't know how that is with your own child but I can relate to how it is when your hubby has severe life threatening food allergies that have sent him in screaming ambulance to the hospital way too many times, when the parmedic walks into your home and says "hi Ty" they come tooo often.. sigh All the best girl! Keep fighting the battle, it can get better, really it can :0)

Hi Everyone.

Thank you for your comments and positive thoughts.

Kid is definitely sick but it is clear she is sick sick and not going to have a seizure sick so I've calmed down. It is always a little more stressful when she is sick since you just never know... but I know a lot of that is just in my head.

Thanks again. Hopefully tomorrow will be easier.

I'm so glad she is just "sick" and not siezure sick...wish she wasn't sick at all,but you know what I mean. I will be praying for kid and for you...it is so hard when your kids are sick,we are thankfully doing pretty well now but Ella has been on a ventilator and wheezing so loud you could here it across the room and I cry in the car too,and the bathroom.I can't sleep when she is having attacks because I'm scared she will stop breathing.UGH it is so freakin hard being a mom sometimes.By the way you look ridiculously skinny in that top in the post, if I didn't want to hug you I would stick my tongue out.

One you know, you never go back to not knowing. I think that's how you put it. Well put.

Darling, stressing about the cleaning is how you deal with the other stress. You know that! You're just trying to manage your real, unknown, scary anxieties with a known anxiety. It's just coping, babe. Vent about your dirty house all you want!

Hugs.

Glad to hear it doesn't sound too serious. I can't even begin to imagine how scary that must be for you guys. I'll still be thinking about you guys, and hoping for the best.

Hopefully having your dad there will encourage her body to make her better.

And really, do call me if you need anything. Even if you just need to call me and scream. I can totally take it.

Give Kids some love from everyone on the blog.

We hear you and see you Mrs. F. Know that we send you all our best wishes and good thoughts. I am thinking of you and hoping for a speedy recovery for Kid. And while off to a bumpy start I am hoping 2008 holds less hospital visits for the Furious Family!! Take care dear, of yourself especially...

you're inspirational in so many ways, right down to the way you handle your daughter's health. i hope she is feeling better soon. my daughter has never had serious health concerns but when she is sick, it's like my gut has been wrenched out and there's nothing that can help to put it back until she's feeling better. there's nothing that feels more out of control. i'm sorry. keep doing what you're doing though.

November 14, 2008, when Kid has been seizure free for 2 years, you still won't breathe a full sigh of relief. You're sighs may be less sigh-y, but that worry and "what if" will always be there in the back of your mind.

Hope the father's visit goes well. Family visits can be enjoyably-stressful.

Is it weird that even though you say "people" on your video, I think you're talking directly to me? Okay. I'm just weird.

Ugh. Sorry to hear Kid is sick. Hope her fever has gone down. The medicine thing--does bribery get you anywhere with her? She's a Smartypants, so I know you can't trick her, but thought maybe some sort of bribery--"You can have this (candy, whatever) if you drink this sip." Wishful thinking? Hope she is feeling better today. Love you.

Thanks again everyone.

She's vegging out on the couch. Mr F slept in her bed with her last night to keep an eye on her.

Deb,
You, my friend, are right on the money.

Amy (CA),
Psst.... I am talking to you ;)

My thoughts and prayers are with your family and your little cutie. I work in anesthesia and see pediatric surgeries all the time. I promise we take EXCELLENT care of all our lil ones! Theres nothing harder than seeing your baby sick. I hope she feels better soon.

Thanks again everyone!

And thanks Christine for that message... you know the anesthesia is the most worrying part!
