I don't know if you grew up here or not but this year reminds me of the snowy winters I remember from childhood.
I am dying for it to stop though and warm up a bit. I really want to be able to try and get my exercise in with a stroller walk so I can do something else with my evenings.; March 28, 2008 at 2:07 PM

Yes, I grew up in this blessed state too and this weather totally reminds me of that! It seemed magical then, but it really sucks now.

I used to LOVE La Shish, but they are out of business now...something about the Mrs. getting arrested and deported for tax evasion...Besides, there are PLENTY of other places to get some good Middle-Eastern food around SE Michigan...gotta love the hummus! Yeah La Shish is pretty good stuff. Their hummus was the best... oh God and the hot pitas! Yummy.

oh it is a little eerie out right now. Looks like storms might be coming. Remember how many tornados we used to have growing up? I wonder if we might get a few of those soon.

Our La Shish is still open... changed names though... thankfully not too much of the menu. Same hummus, same little pitas. Hmm... we might need to go there this week...; March 31, 2008 at 4:17 PM
