Surfing In Her Imagination

"Hey Mom want to return to a little sea salt air?" Kid calls down from upstairs.

"I guess... what does that mean?" Mrs F stutters then, realizing what Kid has been up to, she asks tentatively "What are you wearing?"

Kid bounds down the steps wearing this:

Update:
Kid's fashion choice was spot on....It has got to be close to 80 out today. It's been practically a Picnicpalooza around here these days...

Ann Arbor was just on House Hunters the other night and I thought of you guys....they were shooting when it was Spring and it looked very lovely. That said there is something about the beach, and the "sea salt air"...Kid must have it in her veins. Good for her and good for you for letting her wear that fab outfit!!! Hope today is good one!!!

Thank god for the laptop... I've got you guys out here with me. It must be close to 80 out!

Kiki,
funny! Spring & Fall are pretty nice here. It's actually pretty hot out today but there are still no leaves so there is no shade... kind of brutal ;)

Julie,
We are actually going to Martha's Vineyard June 11-16th. I'll let you know what are plans are. We might fly through Boston and rent a car afterwards and visit the in-laws... in which case I'd love to come visit!

What a wonderful time to go to the Vineyard!! We used to go every year...slacked off about 2 years ago. It is one of my favorite places!

Julie,
Oh good... I've never been. We're staying at the Winnetu Inn (no we're not paying!) and they have great kids programs so we're excited.

even better that you are not paying!!:)

It's a special place...and it is good that you are going before it gets more crowded deep in the summer.

It was a gorgeous day today! Ella had on a rather lovely ensemble too, it made her happy so it was fine with me ;) We went on a field trip to Medieval Times outside Chicago yesterday and there was a really cool dancing stallion, I said isn't he amazing Ella and she yelled that horse is a girl! I love a girl that knows her own mind.Kid obviously falls into that category.
