Oh Good Grief

After a long car ride back from Kid's field trip I quietly asked Kid

"Is Sissy sleeping?"

"No... but she is a mess." Kid replied.

What? I thought to myself...

and then I opened the car door...

She is so cute! It looks like you need to just take her outside and hose her down LOL

Be sure to click to get the full-size view!

I'd still kiss her...

Oh yes you must click the picture to appreciate the full extent of the figgyness!

Every so often, I go insane and feed my kids fluffernutter sandwiches (marshmallow and peanut butter is horrifically unhealthy, but it's not a frequent indulgence.)

The youngest, who is about Baby's age, literally covers herself in marshmallow/peanut butter like it's a gluttonous sort of food shower gel.

Daniela,
"it's a gluttonous sort of food shower gel."
LOL

Carla,
Oh yes. She had really gone to town on that fig newton... the entire car seat was covered.

And because I'm a dork like that, I have to remind you not to submerge the harness in water, or use any harsh chemicals on the harness. The cover can be washed according to manufacturer instructions. . .

That is all.

PS- We leave Vancouver tomorrow to go on our cruise!!! AHHH!!!!

Torey,
Don't worry I'm too lazy to really wash it ;)

Have fun!!!

While I'm sure cleaning it up was no fun...that picture is precious, she looks as sweet as that fig newton tasted!!!!!

I'm going to enlarge the picture and tape it to Stepfather F's mirror, since his phobia is anything sticky and you know how compassionately our family treats the fears of others.

I love that Kid just sits back and watches Baby's antics without saying a word. Reminds me of the bathtub incident... so cute!

Lucinda, that's awesome. I totally was laughing out loud at this comment.

Mr. F - I'd still kiss her too. But I don't know if I'd allow her to hug me!

LOL, you can tell she really enjoyed it though ;)

Aww she looks just like my nephew when he rubs his food into an ambiguous goo and then mushes it on his face. I'm always amazed as to how it gets on the eyelid but not in the eye.

Mom,
LOL... yes it would have been Popi's worst freaking nightmare!!!

Shirls,
I didn't know what it was at first either ;)

Gigs,
yes... it's interesting isn't it? I mean she was completely covered and had obviously been engaged in the fig activity for some time... when I asked Kid about it she said "well I couldn't see what she was doing with her hands." Yeah... right. You could certainly see what she was doing with her face!

Saw Saw,
I too have always wondered why/how they can get the outside of their eyes covered in stuff without it ever bothering them. Makes you wonder why we worry so much about buying tear free shampoo ;)
