Yep, this is why I no longer keep peanut butter in the house.

I love when you call her "Dude."

I hate you for posting this. I am having SUCH a hard time giving up peanut butter. I miss it so.

Hey did you get my email re: the charts?

hahaha... yes I guess I was a bit heavy handed!

I know discovering this recipe has been my freaking down fall.... I always have these things on hand!

oh god they are so freaking good... I wish we could go pb free... but alas that's not in my future

Those look so good--and easy to make. I might have to make some today...

Mrs Furious said...

Have you tried Sunbutter? You can get it at Whole Foods... it is pretty close to pb tasting and it is not another nut! It's what we had to use at Kid's preschool.
Yes I did... thanky.

They're fantastic. If they're really sticky put in a Tablespoon or two of flour to make them more workable.
I totally messed with the recipe today trying to take out 1/2 the sugar... terrible. They need all that sugar!

I have made cookies similar and they were yummy!

Most welcome! I can tell you more places to eat as well.

or we could have adult coffee one day.

Well, crap. I was going to make some sugar-free pudding tonight. I guess that's out. My thighs are very, very angry with you, Mrs. F. But my taste buds will love you, I'm sure.

Mrs Furious said...

I would LOVE to take you up on that... as you know my social calendar is wide open ;)

Oh Deb... they'll love me

OK -- I was laughing outloud when Kid described how to use the fork -- "you do doo-doo, or doo-doo" -- that's totally how I would describe the process! Very funny.

"you do doo-doo, or doo-doo" I know! So cute.

I like that the recipe only makes 9 cookies...just enough for the kids and only a couple for me. Can't do major damage. Well, unless I eat all 9.

How do you use 1/2 an egg? Do you beat it in a bowl and then only add half of it?

Mrs Furious said...

I was actually impressed when she perfectly reversed her hands for the doo-doos :)

well this is a half recipe... so I don't eat 18... obviously.
Yes I just beat the egg and dump in about 1/2.

Oh, dang. I had to come back to say how yummy those are. Too bad Hubby fell asleep upstairs putting the kid to bed. More for me.

It's late, but I'm making the cookies, LOL. I doubled it to make a whole batch, because I couldn't figure out what I'd do with the leftover 1/2 egg (what's wrong with me?!)!!

Also bought a book today...the Storekeeper's Daughter~have you read it?
