Yay or Nay?

Okay here is a sweater I ordered from Overstock.com. It is $84.99 so I kind of think that is expensive. I would not normally wear a belted sweater... but I like it. It is a silk cashmere blend... but isn't very cashmere-y! Those are weird kind of fake layered sleeves. Matt thinks I look like an Elfen Archer... in a good way :)
So before I commit what does everyone think?

I'm not sure comparing me to a male elf is really a compliment....

I say nay. $85 is a lot and if it isn't very cashmere-y...Have you been to BlueFly? They have lots of "cool" stuff. Not that I know anything - maybe, I should spend the $29.95? That post was too funny!

I really need to go to the Nordstrom Rack store but it is such a haul! I fear if I can't try stuff on I'll end up having to return everything again. Unfortunately I hate shopping... uggh... however will I develop my new cool mom look?
I'm returning the sweater.. it is too itchy! Plus I really do think I can find something like it at TJ's if I ever have a chance to go shopping!

Thanks I needed someone's opinion other than Matt's!

I see you've made your decision. That's what I would have advised as it's against my religion to pay that much for one piece of clothing that's not formal wear. I think the most expensive piece of clothing I own is a $20 pair of jeans.

I'm right there with you. The only way my clothes could be any cheaper is if I flew to China and picked them up myself.
