I love the "something, something, something" part of the singing!
That was great fun to watch!!
No, I am not ignoring my family on Christmas. We have already been up for 2 hours, presents are opened, toys are being played with and my presence will not be missed for a moment(until a kid hollers for me to open some ridiculously strapped in toy in a box that one needs power tools in order to release from the friggin' box.)
Somehow, I have missed this classic holiday carol. I'll have to download it from iTunes for next year. Is that a Jessica Simpson tune? Or did Britney cover it first?
seriously?!? they play it on our "all Christmas music" station 20x a day. It is from the 50s. I don't know if it has ever been covered (other than by us that is). Kids love it...
We did have a great day yesterday with Nolan's family, the kids had a blast. But today Nolan woke up sick, and he is a HUGE baby. I even had to start an IV and give him fluids because he was so dehydrated...whatever. Anyways,I spent all day at the mall with 4 kids spending gift cards between trips home to take care of the invalid...he better be fully recovered tomorrow.
emmy, "I even had to start an IV and give him fluids because he was so dehydrated...whatever" LOL... that really is taking it to the extreme. Good God if we had the ability to do that around here Mr F would always have one... he is a totally winter time "I've got a sore throat, etc..." type wus!

I love that song, and I also only remember half of the words LOL!
emmy,
yeah it is one of those songs where we *know* all the words when it is actually playing only to suffer from extreme amnesia once I tried to record it!
hope you had a great day yesterday!

I love that song!@@@
While pigging out on Christmas treats, my coworkers and I changed the lyrics:
"I'm going to be a hippopotomus for christmas..."
P.O.M.
well I'm glad we could deliver one of your faves! :)
