It's The Final Countdown

I'm not going to lie to you I've got a little bit left to do on that stocking. Keep in mind I said it would be done by tonight... so I haven't failed you all just yet!
In retrospect I should have just stayed up last night until it was done. I don't really have that much more to do but I've lost my motivation so in the meantime....

I Plan To:

Take a Shower
Cut Kid's Hair (always fun)
Put away the extra fabric, etc and find thread
Vacuum... damn needles!
Pay Bills (hey did anyone else forget that they still needed to do this?)
Wrap Up The Presents (not for Kid/Baby)
Re-wrap The Presents Baby Has Partially Unwrapped!
If I am a total Badass (and not too mad from the haircut) let Kid make a Gingerbread Train (yes I bought it people... cut me some slack!)

Haircut... The Discussion:

Before:Bangs & Front Shaping:Mrs F takes 4" of The Length:Finished Cut:

as you should be! ;)

I will confess there was lots of "JUST. SIT. STILL!!!" going on during that cut !

Aren't you leaving soon?

Wow! I have a boy so I just get out the clippers and I still manage to botch that up. I am totally impressed with your talents!!

Thanks! :) I usually am pretty proud of myself for a little while after I cut it!

thumbs up! have a fantastic Christmas with your family, I am planning on doing the same as soon as I finish my charting and officially go off call at 8am and after a frantic round of last minute cooking/cleaning before the festivities begin.

thanks! I'm still sewing the letters on this damn stocking!!
Have a very Merry Christmas with your family :)

Hey thanks! Merry Christmas!

Still up working on that puppet theater? I'm staying up until this stocking is finally finished!

Anyone else feel compelled to eat EVERYTHING in the house while they procrastinate?!

That is one fabulous haircut Mrs. F. Your training by osmosis has obviously paid off! I, on the other hand, am paying $17 a head at a kid's salon for my boys. Maybe you could let me know when you're in town!

I still have some last minute wrapping of husband gifts, but we're in good shape here. Though yes, eating more than I should for sure... Can't wait to see the stocking!

Have a great Christmas

I finally finished the stocking (exactly 48 hours after I started!!!) So glad I'll never have to make another one... ever again! I thought I was going to wus out but I did actually sew the whole thing.... I just need to machine stich the outside seam at some point (so it can handle the heft of future Christmases).

I'm off to wrap and clean!

Have a Merry Christmas!! :)

and I'll take care of the duplicates ;)

I sometimes cut my own kids' hair too (for which my friend and stylist yells at me extensively.)

Yesterday, I was somehow under the hallucination that I had the skills to cut my own hair because I wanted more of a "choppy" look.

This went all fine and well UNTIL I realized that I couldn't quite see behind myself. So, in a moment of sheer brilliance (stupidity) I held up a handheld mirror and hacked away.

I just left Elida a message (she's my stylist.) If she doesn't stab me with her scissors, I will probably rock the Mia Farrow Rosemary's Baby look for the next few months.

I missed this one! sorry!

lol... after cutting Kid's hair I almost convinced myself I could do my own!

I actually had the Mia Farrow cut when I was in college...

Merry Christmas
