Hope you have a wonderful, peaceful, restful day Mrs. F. Those videos are the best, I am so jealous of your dancing prowess, I don't even know how to begin to do a donkey kick- you rock! As far as Mr F goes I really think they just don't get how debilitating the sleep deprivation is because they have never experienced it like that, Nolan remains clueless to this day even after 4 kids that nursed and never slept. If you don't mind I would love to pray for you, I pray for myself all the time, for patience, wisdom, strength, a gentle spirit, all the stuff I so don't have on a regular basis. Anyways, hope things are going better and if I locate any paragoric on the black market I will hook you up ;)

hehe funny video! this has nothing to do with the video, but i've been trying (twice) to make the "white trash" treat but can't get the chocolate to melt! I've tried a double broiler (became grainy chocolate) and a low-power microwave (burned it). what's the secret? do you add butter? milk? quality of chocolate? i grated some almond bark and tried it which didn't work out. any tips would be greatly appreciated! thank you!

Hey, I'm a closet "bop-it" fan too! Dontcha love to do a little dance to the music when you win? :) Sending big hugs your way from snowy Vermont, Mrs. F. I hope you get some sleep this weekend and that next week is much better.

As I sat watching the video on my couch with my laptop on my lap my husband heard the sound of the bop it and couldn't reist watching along....you have some kind of "Bop It" prowess hiding under those crazy dancing skills!!!

Take it easy...hope you are resting and recuperating, I will be thinking of you and wishing you strength and endurance. When you come back we will still be here so take your time. (Not that you need me to tell you to do that. Who the heck do I think I am?)

Flipping the bop-it upside down so you don't have to use your hands to "bop it" = genius!!

Emmy,

oh please do! I need it.

and you are right about Mr F and the sleep deprivation. He just has no clue and would die after one night of what I go through. Even after I got up with Baby all night again last night he came down all groggy and I just want to scream "get over it!!!" I mean really... if I were him I would get up and be on my game right now so that he could help me in the day... not stay up all night blogging or whatever. okay I'm going to try and move on and not be too pissed so early in the AM....

eat like a caveman,
I actually microwaved it in 30 second intervals and stopped before it was all melted and stirred it to melt the rest then I stirred in one T peanut butter. I used a packaged (maybe nestle) white chips. It should be smooth when melted. I suspect you are over cooking it. But you could try melting it with the 1 T oil or PB in it that should help.

susannah,
Hi thanks for commenting!! :)

I was born in Bennington, VT and my uncle and his family live in Dorset, VT.
Just FYI... I don't know where you live but thought that might be an interesting tidbit if you are local. Did you know Dom Deluise lives in Dorset?! weird but true.

Emily,

oh yes 'bopping" it on your leg vastly improves the game.

and thanks for your other comments on my other post as well. :)

Kiki,

how could he not resist the call of the "Bop-It"?!?

you'll be interested to know that I was at the Gap yesterday. Someone returned a pair of petite pants (yay!!!) that might be a tiny bit tight (1's) but I think in general my problem is I always think that then buy pants that are too big and then have saggy ass issues. These are a dressier Khaki with a good two button reinforcement. I also got two of the long sleeved (raglan sleeves) super soft solid tees. I was also SHOCKED to find out that Gap makes kid's clothes in Plus (=Husky) since when?!?
Thanks for your kind wishes. I am feeling better and after I have a whole pot of coffee I'll be feeling even better.

This game looks oddly addictive.

soapbox girl,
GET IT! I like to think it is building brain cells while I play... seriously... it is a lot like those brain challenge test you can do online.

A Vermont native - small world as the old cliche goes. Dom Deluise lives in Dorset - he's a funny guy. BTW, I often do the "bop" portion of the Bop-it game on my forehead as it leaves my hands on "twist" and "pull"...just sayin', in case you're ever in a really serious Bop-It competition.
