Love the pictures! Hey, simplicity is best. Really all kids want is a happy momma.
Did you make that little cake? It is adorable. I just ask because I know you are a cake decorating whiz.
BTW, I made both the meatball soup and the pork tenderloin this week. They were delicious. The pork was cooked perfectly! Of course, my boys would not eat either...it is so not rewarding to cook for them!
I just watched the video. That was so cute! Baby wasn't quite sure what to do with that cake at first...loved her little tongue wiggling around to get the frosting!
Emmy, yeah once she realized there was chocolate under there she picked up the whole cake and was mouthing it like an animal... very cute... and messy!
Julie, oh I'm glad you liked the dinners!
And yes I made the little cake and Kid decorated the "big" cake... see? I'm letting go :)
Robin, You'll have fun at the party and everyone will oh and ah over your cookies and you'll be glad you did them!

I am wishing right about now that all we were doing was cake and a baloon!
Sorry, that should be balloon.

That was some rockin' balloon, too. HUGE!
The other big cake was beautiful, too.

So precious. I love the idea of the little cake!
Sounds like you all had a great time celebrating.
Your pictures are beautiful! You must be a great photographer and/or have a great camera. I live the little cake, that is so sweet.
Preppy Mama,
thanks!
Erin,
ah probably a bit of both. We've got a Nikon 80 SLR and Mr F has gotten really into using all sorts of different lenses.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the last picture. Just sayin'
Amy,
yes I have a set of three mini cake pans to make a little three tiered cake (this is the bottom layer).
MommyTime,
thanks.
I was so happy that she got into it... Kid wasn't interested at her 1st birthday.
