I like it and I like it over the jeans. Keep in mind that I am sitting in a pair of knit pants, a shirt and Valentine's socks though. There is no accounting for taste hunh?

Schnazy!!!!!! I love it. I'm so into the shirt dress thing. It serves so many purposes.

You can just wear like a human being. OR you can wear it when you're pregnant OR you can stick a whole baby under there to nurse. Alternately you can sneak food into movies with it!

LMAO

Heather,
"and Valentine's socks"
That's okay I was wearing Christmas socks yesterday... which is always a sign that the laundry is overdue!

Love it! Where did you get it?
Very Chic!!!

Preppy Mama,
Old Navy! $34.50. They've got a line I believe is literally called something like "Safari Chic" Of course everything is summer now but I actually like this better over pants anyway.

Love it! Looks so good on you!

Mrs. F, ( I said that in a sing song voice) I knew it was Old Navy, I am crazy about a lot of stuff there...I just bought the yoga pants there and am trying to restrain from using all my discount there...and all of Ken's patience!!!

You look F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S!!! I am so glad that you found something you like and you really do look great. What shoe are you wearing with this safari/pant combo. Just curious??? Look at you doing my Fashionable Friday for me!!!

Kiki,
well in these pics I'm wearing my hot pink slippers ;)
BUT at ON I saw some cute kind of zebra print ballet flats... I feel like that would be a good choice (yes?) the jean length requires flats.

Julie,
thank you.
I hope you had something a little more exciting then your skinny cow for dessert tonight!

Mrs. F, we all went to Jack's 2nd grade Valentine's day concert tonight and then I let the boys pick something out at the store afterwards. They chose Sour patch kids...so I partook in that as well since I am a sugar addict...just a few, but still. Ewww, gross, but I didn't want to stop eating them.

Oh, I am still going to eat my skinny cow tonight.

Julie,
I'm happy to hear your V-Day sounds about as *hot* as ours ;)

Julie said...

Oh, it's hot alright...sitting here on the couch with my polar fleece bathrobe on...flannels underneath.

Yup, Tom's asleep in our bed with Murphy...he went to lie down with him to help M to sleep and now says he's just "resting"...fully clothed. Oh yeah, I am not giving Murphy up to his own bed until this flippin' cold weather is done. He really warms up the bed...he's like a heating pad.

I will be eating that skinny cow by myself on the couch while watching the latest Biggest Loser (dvr'd).

Wow, when did my life get this pathetic? Oh yeah, about 8 years ago when I had my first baby and moved out of the city. Pathetic or not, I still love it though...kids, country, skinny cows, sleeping husband and all. I just want that damn Whole Foods to open up near me then my life would be complete:)

Uh huh, thos eflats would be good, when you try them on makes ure you look at them from the side...I have a size ten foot (I'm 5'10") so they looked too pointy on my already long foot, but you are a petite flower, so they will probably look darling on you! This is almost as good as shopping with you in person!!Heehee!

Wow, its late+I'm tired=bad typing!!

Mrs. F- I've been a closet reader for a while now, this is my first comment- love the dress- totally my thing too- but why are you keeping us hanging on the hair? What gives? When are we going to see the snazzy new 'do?

Mrs Furious said...

Kiki,
okay I'll check for the pointy factor... I only wear a 6 so probably not so pronounced in my size. But either way I'll be looking for a kind of funky patterned ballet flat.

And you can come shopping with me whenever you want ;)

Kiki called you a petite flower and that is awesome.

I saw this outfit on a commercial yesterday and I was like... Isn't that Mrs. F's dress?

Maybe I'll ditch work early and go shopping with Eli. The poor child has hardly any clothes.

Canatloupe,
Hey thanks for outing yourself ;)

Well the thing with the hair is 2 parted

#1 OF COURSE it hasn't looked as bad since I said that... isn't that always the way?!

#2 Because I have the girls all day I can really only get in for a cut on the weekend it is going to be another week until I can get in.

Stay tuned. I think I'm still doing it.

Mrs Furious said...

Nutmeg,
they are having a big 40% sale on kids and baby stuff.... Go!

Jaime said...

hehe, I just saw the commercial yesterday too. I wonder if they make em in the right size for us tall chicks. I'm so going this weekend!

Oh, and I already have little leopard print flats that are going to look fab with it! :)

eurydice said...

i must say you are looking very nice and thin - good work!

Mrs Furious said...

Eurydice,
you know what is great? that I finally feel thin enough that I am comfortable wearing something that isn't really body skimming... before I would have worried that people would think I was hiding something. Now I just know I'm thin and that no one is thinking otherwise... it is totally liberating!

Mrs Furious said...

bi0nicw0man,
I have a long torso so it might not fit that much differently. It is a bit short to wear without pants even on me.

eurydice said...

i know what you mean. and you know what they say... that many people should be wearing their clothes "one size bigger" - it's nice to know you are wearing the right size, it hangs well (no unsightly rolls), and there is room to spare.

now that my jeans actually fit, i can't imagine how i used to squeeze into pants as a teenager. how did i ever think that looked good? delusions!

Amy said...

oh, that's so cute! i love it. i might have to run over the right now!

Mrs Furious said...

Amy,
I totally think it would look cute on you!
