Things On My Mind

#1 Wondering when I'm ever going to pick up where I left off with "The Love Story" saga?... soon, very, very, soon. You can look for Chapter 3 sometime this weekend.

#2 Yes I'm still really, really, tired. Baby is still very sick and even with my special friend, Unisom, I still feel like I'm about to hit a wall.

#3 Purging continues. My goal is to get rid of at least one thing a day. So far so good.

#4 I have been up late reading this blog. I cannot stop. This ongoing retirement home saga is strangely fascinating... and addictive. I've gotten through February and I won't rest until I'm up to date. I've actually had dreams starring this motley crew of retirees. For real.

#5 I've fallen off the diet and exercise wagon... again. I'm hoping to pull it back together as soon as we work through this "no sleeping" glitch. I think I've got to go back to square one. I felt better feeling in control than I do eating muffins. I may have more to say on this front tomorrow. Stay tuned.

Ok, I don't think I will check it out. I can't afford another blog addiction!!

Sorry baby is giving you so much trouble. :(

DEVASTATION!!!!!
The blog I linked to is over. I had started at the beginning and only got to her recent posts tonight... only to discover that she quit blogging... yesterday!

No time like quitting cold turkey:)

So sorry about the no sleeping thing. I smell what you're steppin' in. Boy has some stomach bug and has been throwing up since this morning. Hopefully tomorrow will be a new day with no more vomit! A girl can dream, can't she?

Oh, thank GOODNESS! I was going to start reading tomorrow, and now I won't.

Do you think Unisom works better than Nighttime Tylenol? Just curious... I've found that the Clinging Tick Child sleeps better if I sleep better. It's like we're just waking up all night long to check on one another.

Aww I hope you can get some good sleep soon! I hope baby gets better too!

Deb,
It is still worth reading... and just think you'll be entering it knowing the obsession is for a limited time!

Kenady,
Ugh I'm sorry about the puke-fest :(
Oh God I hope our sickee dosen't turn down that path!

I always think winter is when they are sickest and think if we make it through that we're okay... and completely forget that they are always sick in the Spring!

Oh Deb,
Tylenol PM vs Unisom:
pharmacists recommend Unisom it is non-habit forming you can take it indefinitely and is safe when pregs or b'fing (which I am). It is just one drug an antihistimine. I don't wake up groggy.
I'm assuming Tylenol PM has two the Tylenol and whatever else knocks you out.

I think Tylenol PM is basically Tylenol and Benadryl. At least that is the "equivalant substitute" in the hospital I work at. The Tylenol "relaxes your aches and pains" and the benadryl knocks you out (antihistamine).

Tylenol PM also has a version without the Tylenol medicine in it (if that makes sense). It's called Tylenol Sleep -- I love it and it says that it's not habit forming.

Thanks, Mary. I'll look for it at the drug store today.

Mrs. F, look at your blog! It's a vast source of reliable information 24 hours a day. It's an impressive thing you've built here.

Dear Mrs/ Furious: Thanks to your plug, Code Name Nora has had many more visitors. Sorry they come when Nora has taken a respite. But it won't be forever. She's working on something new is all. So she'll likely be back. Appreciate the kind words.

Oh Nora!
Well the attention was well deserved. You are a compelling storyteller. I look forward to your new work. :)

Thanks Deb... I aim to please ;)

eurydice,
oh things are just about to get good in the Love saga...

Not sleeping, sometimes a problem. What about panic attacks. Any advice? Last night I had one of the worst i've ever had. And I'm devastated that Nora is taking off. I had just become extremely dependent on her. Maybe that's the reason for the panic attack.

Mrs Furious said...

Deborah,
Now do you think Nora is actually an 82 year old woman or not?

Sorry to hear about the panic attack. This has good advice.

Deborah M. said...

Mrs. F. i did wonder if Nora was really 82 and living in a retirement home. I would love to think so. I hope when I'm 82 and living (still, hopefully) wherever I am living that I am blogging and building websites and posting updates on Facebook. However, I kind of have an inkling of a doubt that she is who/what she says she is. Maybe I am wrong... I hope so..

Deborah,
While I do hope it was authentic... either way she was a great story teller and I enjoyed my time in "The Twilight Zone".
