Sabrina,
thank you
I'm taking it shorter when I go back in. It grows so fast and I'm really fearing a "mom" look coming on ;)

Gigs,
Thanks... the kids are into it this morning :)

yes, i feel you re the mom look - i have way too curly hair to make it look nice when it was growing too long, looked like a helmet more or less *hrhr*

ah well, therefore the monthly hair cut was way cheaper then it is now with hair down my back ;)

btw. not sure if i signed it brina or sabrina last time i commented - it's the german chick here again

This is a nice rocker look -- so adorable and sassy. :)

You could totally pull off the faux hawk with that cut. It is all the rage here in California with the teenage boys.

Cute cut, I can't pull off those short-short cuts.

ah ha ha... you really do. my boyfriend said if i had short hair i'd look like a shakespearean boy playing a woman in a play in shakespearean times. nice!

1) Nice haircut! Look really good, actually. But hey...I have a propensity towards short hair, having had a high-and-tight since the summer of 1992...

2) So, I've seen, inadvertently, because they serve as a backdrop to your photos, pix of the inside of your house. Question: was it, historically, a Sears Kit Home? It looks every square inch like the floorplan of the house we just moved out of about 2 years ago. It was a floorplan that companies and some people could buy from Sears around 1915 to about 1920 or so. All the pieces were pre-cut. They are especially popular in old auto exec neighborhoods because the company could buy a zillion of that floorplan and build a neighborhood really quickly. Every other house in our old neighborhood looked like ours, inside and out. So...any idea if yours is the same?

short hair = bed head. can't get one without the other! you're braver than me though; can't say i'd ever post my hair in the morning but then again, i guess i'm vain.

Mrs.F, I absolutely love this new cut, it is super cute and I think you pull it off spectacularly!!!

I am pretty excited about the move, I think its awesome that Mr.F got what he asked for!!!

My sister, Heather, has the same cut and the same great bone structure as you to carry it off beautifully!!!

All the best to you today!!!

I had a very similar hair cut, on three separate occassions, for several years total.

I call that look the crazy hedgehog and I am very familiar with it.

Smitty,

It's a craftsman-style. I don't know if it's a Sears kit in particular, but it is of that era. 1919.

I'm going to have a hard time not gravitating right back to another old house in Asheville—preferably in the same style.

Thanks guys.

Smitty...
yes. Ours was built in 1919... but it has been horrendously "modernized" during the 80s... see awful banister behind me. They widened the openings between the dining room and the living room and the kitchen. Mr F reworked the trim so that it fit in with the original trim. Our house had also been converted into a duplex and then reconverted in the mid 80s.

Nutmeg,
crazy hedgehog... I like it! ;)

Kiki,
Ooh... I've never thought of myself as having great bone structure... thanks!

Sabrina,
LOL... oh believe me I'm going to have to go through an awkward grow out phase... I liken it to a man with a terrible toupee. Somehow movie stars always manage to pull through with a cute headband. Me? Not so much. ;)

LOL... Mr F too I suppose... but for very different reasons ;)
