what exactly were you cleaning the tub with?? ( so i can avoid it,lol)
I make my own... tea tre eoil, white vinegar, lemon juice. First you scrub with dry baking soda with damp sponge, then spray ( without rinsing first)... its got that weird oxygen action thingy goin and smells good.. best part is it's NATURALLY antiseptic, antibacterial, antimicrobial, moisture barrier... yay. lol
The Baby and Canine partnership is going to be fascinating to watch over the years. I can already tell my most annoying dog and my kid are best friends. Too bad it's the youngest dog in the batch.
it will go faster than you think, I can not believe how much we have gotten done in the last 2 weeks with the kids here the whole time. You don't have to do the painting and other crap either so it will go even faster. I know what you mean about waking up ready to go to bed though, man purging and furniture rearrangement is tiring work! Nolan takes ADD meds too, not fair. I'm sticking with the coffee ;) I wish I had a lemon square...
Mrs F, I think you should have MR. F watch Kid and Baby and take 15 mins to yourself (8 if you cant take the full 15) get a double americano, breath and just shut down and recharge your batteries. Then, pop in something rockin' (Prince? Madonna? Phish?)and let the espresso take over! You will move mountains sister! Or.. yea, sudafed is basically like crack yo. HA.. good luck, have a great day!
LOTSA coffee and LOTSA loud music..keeps ya moving! And doing it like you are..room by room..always works for me. At least when your feeling depressed you can go back and stare at the rooms that are DONE!!!!!
And hey, worse comes to worse, as long as all the clutters gone you can always hire a cleaning company to come in and "de-green"...of course, it will involve every unnatural chemical known to mankind, but hey, your moving right??
No advice on the pee couch. Been there, done that...after MULTIPLE washings (with complete dryings between) and febreeze and lysol spray (hey, I'll try anything to NOT buy another $1500 couch!) the smell is finally gone but it definitely took a few days of good washings.
Marie, yes I'm now machine washing the covers... not just spot cleaning the pee areas. I'm hoping this works... and fearing it will fade the cushions...
FWIW We've noticed the same thing with green shower cleaners. Pete likes for it to be so clean you can practically eat in there -- he literally spends an hour on it each week. Oh ADD/Perfectionism, you're helpful sometimes.
Anti-icky poo is the best for urine smells. I've got a protest-peeing dog and have tried EVERYTHING. This stuff really works. Google it!
I'm jealous of the lemon bars. Damn. Now I want one!
Girl, you made dinner, I'm not even packing, don't have two kids to take care of and told Ken he could have a frozen dinner tonight, while I had toasted bagel...you get mad props from me for all that you packed in today!!!
I have to rock out to the Beastie Boys when I'm cleaning, that or some old school crazy dance mixes from the 80's/90's....so hyper and happy!!!
Happy world environment day! How is everyone celebrating this momentous holiday? I'm celebrating by basking in my gloriously heavely CFL lightbulbs, and relaxing with my new bioheat system, has anyone eve rheard of bioheat?
Did you know that if everyone switched to bioheat we could conserve 400 millions gallons of regular oil. That's a huge amount! I wish everyone could see the light. I would love it if you would check out the site on bioheat to read more background info on it. The other thing I love about it is that it's completely clean burning, and is comprised of a b5 blend of vegetable and plant oils such as avocados, hemp, corn, etc. Check out the link! http://oilheatamerica.com/index.mv?screen=bioheat PS I work with Nora to bring this info to you!

Heather,
