Heartbreaking is an understatement. I can't read it because of my own sister dying. It's just cuts too close to the bone for me. I wish them well and will buy the book they're putting together with Amy Lawson's entry when the time comes. But I can't read it.
It's heartbreaking and I can't help but keep checking back hoping to hear something.
me too. Somehow I think if I click over there enough her sister is going to post something like, "She woke up and called me on the phone and got to talk to her kids!" or something like that.
It's kind of weird though. Previous to the accident, I had only read her blog a handful of times. Post-accident I went through all of her archives in a couple of days. After going through them I decided I was similar enough to relate to her, and different enough from her to be fascinated by her. (Mostly Inspiring fascination. but admittedly some just pure fascination....)
Katieo, "Mostly Inspiring fascination. but admittedly some just pure fascination...." Oh yes I'm with you. The further you get into it the more some of the *other* fascination starts to come out ;)
I hadn't ever heard of her before... maybe seen her in someone's blogroll... until the accident. I'm still not done with her archives. At first I felt voyeuristic about it but then I decided this is her work and her life and I'm honoring that.

Oh my goodness - what a sad story!
I really like her photojournaling -- such lovely pictures. Her aesthetic and spirit remind me quite a bit of alicia paulson over at posie gets cozy.

Excited for you to post the Whole Foods list...
Oh my goodness - I read about her story last week via Design Mom and I have been unable to get it out of my mind since. It's so heartbreaking.
Her sister has a blog also - she is the one taking care of all the kids right now. I think it's called CJaneRun.
Wow, I literally just spent a couple of hours reading over her blog...what a romantic life and a heartbreaking story.

I was up until 3 a.m. reading her archives...had to make myself to go bed. It is just so sad. I am praying for them...
