Today is our 7th wedding anniversary. Every year we take a "family" portrait... they're not all on this computer so check back later and hopefully I'll be able to get them all on.
This year:
This one is from last year... check out my head!!... Seems Baby and I have both lost a little of our chubby cheeks since then ;)
If you are curious... Mr F and I got married HERE.
Also I'll share with you the two best Anniversary gifts Mr F has given me.
We give each other "traditional" anniversary gifts each year.
For our 1st anniversary (Paper) Mr F had our invitations reprinted (no small feat since they were letterpress!) since there had been a typo on our originals (which of course killed me!):
For our (4th?!) Leather anniversary Mr F got me this beautiful blue leather memento box. It's got all the stuff from our wedding in it... my tiara, the ribbon from my bouquet, Mr F's corsage, our guest book, complete sets of our invitations for the girls, and some things with calligraphy on them... Mr F's place card, etc:
This year is our Copper anniversary and I got Mr F a pair of THESE... trust me he's thrilled!

Happy Anniversary, Furious Family!!
I think you all look beautiful in the photos...but I can really see a difference in you with even just a little more weight lost.
I am dying to go read all the stuff on J&K Plus 8...I am trying to totally avoid the computer today since I have been on it so much lately and the kids only have a few more days at home with me. I can't wait for them to go to bed so I can go to town reading all the dirt on Jon and Kate:)
PS This is actually the only thing online I have done all day. Okay, I am outta here...
Happy Anniversary! You are a beautiful family!
That place you got married is like a fairy tale. So freaking cool. :)
HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!
Happy Anniversary to ya both! Hope it's a good one!
Happy Anniversary!! We do traditional gifts too. Its fun that way!!
Thanks ladies :)
I can't say we're doing much to celebrate this year... unless you count our trips to Lowes & Kmart! Good times ;)
oh and thanks bi0nicw0man... all our pics are film so maybe one day I'll get them on the computer and I can post them. Our wedding was at night and it was beautiful!
Shut up -- you got married in Dobbs Ferry??? My boyfriend lives in Westchester and whenever I see signs for Dobbs Ferry I secretly think that's where elves live... I kind of want to move there just because of that.
Haley,
shhh...it is where the elves live ;)
Happy Anniversary! Lovely lovely gifts.
Happy Anniversary! I love where you got married! What a beautiful venue:) And I love the traditional gift thing, that is awesome:)
The family photo is great! I love the porch swing:) Here's to many more years together! Cheers!
Aw, I love that you give the traditional gifts...that's just so cool.
bi0nicw0man,
I totally recommend it... it has really helped come up with creative and meaningful gifts. I think if we hadn't done that there'd have been a lot of flowers and whatnot ;)
Hmmm... yes, I have given/gotten a lot of flowers and whatnot. Is 15 years into the program to late to change to traditional gifts?
Gigs,
Hell no... it's never too late! the gifts are just starting to get good at 15 years ;)
My husband and I enjoy exchanging traditional gifts, too! :)
Y'all have a beautiful family! The picture tradition is a wonderful idea!
:)
Happy Anniversary to the Furious'!!! I am loving where you got married and Mr.F is a thoughtful gift giver!!! I love the traditional gift thing, I think I might implement this starting next year, it has got to make gift giving easier and more creative!!!
I love the copper lights! That's a way cool gift. I don't even think Tom and I exchanged anniversary gifts this year. How sad is that after 14 years. Maybe we will start the traditional gifts, but in a funny, creative way (really that means keep it cheap.)
I love the Rejuvenation catalog, too.
Kat,
thanks :)
I think it is so much more fun to do the traditional gifts.
Kiki & Julie,
Get on board. It does make for more creative and "thoughtful" gifts. Ours haven't always been expensive (well mine usually are not). Some years we pool the gift and get one thing... the lights for this year and a family tree for "wood" which I personally thought was a cleaver gift for that year thank you very much ;)
Whoa... thanks for reminding me I need to figure out a present for Hubby for our anniversary!
Congratulations! Love the progression photos!
Happy Anniversary - I love your porch - and your traditions - and your gift for Mr.F!!! I have been looking for a fixture like those for the landing of my stairway - you just eliminated my searching!
Claire,
Oh I'm happy to have taken care of that for you!! :) Isn't it a beautiful light? I'm happy the "copper" year snuck up just when I needed sconces ;)
Deb,
what year are you?
