Is It Just Me...

Or is there something about this that strikes you as funny?

Mr F left this on the counter for me to inspect this morning. Every time I see it I bust out laughing.

Jesus. Only a man would do that.

I'm sure you can relate to this one....FH made himself a monsterous lunch yesterday that required my good cookie sheet (you know the one that is only for actual baking...not whatever grease laden item he was preparing), the huge frying pan, a soup pot, and a couple of other things. Left all of it piled in the sink. The frying pan alone is too big for the sink.

Fast forward to dinner....

He clears up the plates, puts them in the dishwasher. Puts like one extra glass in there too then walks away.

About half hour later I go out and notice that all his lunch stuff is still there and ask if he is just leaving it for me (he wouldn't think to hand-wash a dish in a bazillion years) and his answer is the dishwasher is full.

You know where this is going...

I open up the washer and it's about 2/3 full. Top shelf has tons of room and the slot that is specifically for big trays and stuff is empty.

So in the end I end up putting his shit in there and taking 2 minutes to handwash the big frying pan (that we've discussed a THOUSAND times doesn't go in the washer anyway!).

Men.

(ha, sorry to shark so much room...i was on a rant n roll!)

This is still hilarious to me. Am I supposed to eat it? Trash it? Return it?
The fact that I would never have done this in reverse is of course obvious to everyone but him.

Bi0nicw0man,
Rants are ALWAYS welcome! ;)

And I know the cookie sheet. I have one anything goes sheet... the rest are to remain in cookie condition!!!

I totally have the same "one cookie sheet" that is the good sheet...

and I'm sure I had the same convo about the frying pan that doesn't fit in the dishwasher with my hubby on Monday night! swear it!

as for the bad thing, seriously? it reminds me of when someone opens something that is bad and ripe, and then after making a crazy gross eeeehhhh face afer smelling it, asks you to smell it.. ah, no thanks I'll pass and trust in your sense of smell thanks..

I just realized that my previous comment reads as though the pan doesn't fit in the dishwasher when my hubby is in there! LOL

Love the "Bad?" container...so whats the verdict?? And what is the mysterious item?

As for the dishwasher, I avoid hand-washing with a fierceness. I can even cram my crockpot into the dishwasher (of course, a few of those little bars that stick up are SLIGHTLY bent..).

whatever you decide, I hope you "write" your message back. :)

What?!? My mom raised me to be botulism-paranoid!

Katieo,
To get back at him I should just write "Good" on it and let him try it for himself ;)

Shirls,
Did you ever see that old SNL with Tom Hanks and the bad milk? It was hilarious because it is true that SO many people feel the need to share the "bad" experience.
