I shall be at your house on Wednesday. Please make a little bit extra :)
Ugh.. I had to do our menu plan today, too...I feel like we eat the same meals over and over and over again. LOL.
I just switched grocery stores agin, hoping that will help. :)
We also get in a major rut w/ our meals. I do our menu plan for 2 weeks (because dh gets paid every 2 weeks and its easier to just buy everything and not have to worry about putting $ aside for week 2).
I am really looking forward to summer and all the fresh veggies (at cheap prices!) that will hopefully mix things up again. (that and the fact that no one wants a heavy meal on a hot night!).
michelline,
You are more than welcome :)
Inkelywinkely,
I'm with you... it took me about an hour and I ended up with pretty much what we had last week!
Marie,
I am so over our frozen produce, etc.. I am very excited for fresh veggies and starting to change our menus around! Plus Kid will be out of school and I can put a little more time into dinner. (wishful thinking)
I have been grilling for the last two weeks. LOL.
Anyone got any ideas for people that don't eat extravagant? :) ::crosses fingers::
BTW, Mrs., I did ours and Byron checked it over and said, "Chicken nachos? Didn't we just have chicken tacos, and before that chicken chalupas?" LOL... Yes, we did... but it is cheap, easy, and no one complains.
Inkelywinkely,
"it is cheap, easy, and no one complains. "
Oh believe me... if I can get it on the table for around $5-7 and everyone liked it... we will be having it again until someone protests!
Mmmm...what kind of fish do you use for the tacos?
