Last week was whacky and chaotic. I didn't take the time to make myself a plan and by the end of the week it showed. As much as I would like to just "hop to" and start ticking off the things on my mental list I know that if I don't take the time to do this I will crash and burn. If you don't do this for yourself and are kind of an all-or-nothing style person like myself... I swear... it does work. I don't always get everything done but I am much more successful when I take the time to identify what one or two things I could do each day.
[I'll be back with a meal plan]
Chores & Errands:
I'm really going to push myself to get everything done this week. Hopefully the kids will cooperate and let me do it all. In one week I won't have to worry about any of this crap again for another month!!
Monday - pick up kitchen, pick up living room (removing toys!), grocery shopping
Tuesday - laundry, vacuum, have baby & mom (that I'll be watching this year) over to meet the girls
Wednesday - sort & file mountain on desk, ID which bills Mr F will have look for in the mailbox
Thursday - PACK
Friday - depart after breakfast, stop for the night in Winchester, VA
Saturday - arrive Eaglesmere, PA for lunch (God willing)
Sunday - take girls to Knobels
Monday - depart after breakfast for Ann Arbor (hopefully eldest niece will be assisting on this leg)

sounds like fun and planning yea i have a dry erase board for all my planning pluse my trusty day planner that i never leave home with out have a safe trip
You can do it!!!!
How long will you be in A2? Are you available?
You should have the mom of the baby sign a photo release for your blog. We would all love to see pictures!
Whew, you are making me tired.
I told Superdad that he should come over and help paint and encourage.
DO you really think that is a wise idea since they both seem to have trouble finishing things?? They'd probably end up watching Star Trek and nothing would get done while you are away.
I am glad we get to get together before you leave me for a month. What will I do without any playdates???
TWITCH!!!
Boy do I have lousy timing, looks like i will miss you by a few days.
When do you get back, we may be back in that area the first week of August.
Surly Rob,
I know I'm sorry. We should have been here for your visit but my Dad's mother invited us to visit this weekend and she's 96 and we can't turn her down.
Don't worry I did just clean the bathroom for you ;)
We'll be back the very beginning of August. So if you do come back we will be here!
Ooh, I am not sure you want the mom of the baby to see your blog. Then you'd have to make everything seem so smooth and cool all the time so she is not afraid to leave her baby with you...unless the baby is not her first baby...pretty much anything goes after baby #1;)
Not that I think she should be afraid to leave her baby with you!!! You know what I mean, right?
Good luck getting everything done this week! I know you can do it!
julie,
word. I'm not telling her about and I even took the link off of my FB page (even though I never update that thing anyway) so she can't google me and get it.
I don't want to have to censor myself... or pretend I'm not on here in the day. And what if I need to vent about her?!!!!!
Torey,
I'll send you an email. I don't know yet what our plans are going to be like or what days we'll actually be in AA... but I'm sure I could fit you in ;)
