The Cleaning Is In Progress...

Last night Mr F issues a challenge...

(it's short folks and worth it for my nighttime fashion alone)

BEHOLD!

Ok, now I have a slight crush on Mr. Furious. lol.

Can't wait to see the finished product.

And can I say that I have a slight crush on you too for the fact that you told him that you feel it could be cleaner! I actually laughed out loud and my son looked at me like I was from Mars.

Totally rock!

Okay the kitchen is immaculate. I'll put the pics up after I get the baby down.

The bathroom shelves....er.... that has turned out to be a MAJOR project. I have filled an entire garbage can with expired medicine... seriously.

Jennifer,
Mr F will be pleased to hear that ;)

The whole thing is awesome.

A scene that could very much have been played at our house, only your laugh is far more charming than my cackle. :)

Go, Mr. F, go... you cleaning machine.

And Mrs. F? PURGE PURGE PURGE!!! Free yourself of the crap.

WOW! Most impressive. You'll have fun hanging out in there tomorrow!

Aaron walked in halfway through that video and was like, "What? THeir dog plays the harmonica?" (Then I made him watch the whole thing...hoping of course that some of Mr. F's motivation was contagious...)

Well done Mr. F!

Hey All,

Yes, oh yes, Mr F is quite pleased with himself! (as he should be)

The kitchen looks great. We should post a pic next weekend to see if we can keep it up. The biggest issue have been those piles of misc clutter that didn't really have a place to go. Most of it went in the trash ;)

I'm only half way through the bathroom closet. It is so hard to throw out half used bottles of shampoo and such. SO hard. What if there is a major catastrophe and they stop making shampoo?!?! What do you do with an opened box of breast pads?!?! They're still good... but it is a weird thing to give someone.... right? Do I just throw them out and be done with it?

Mr F is (hopefully) taking the kids tomorrow on a returns spree and I'll be able to finally put everything back in more neatly.

So if I really NEVER wear makeup should I just throw it all out. I mean it is all at LEAST 6 years old. Shouldn't I maybe just buy a new mascara and lipstick next time I'm at the mall?

It looks great!!!

1) Breastpads- I have an opened box of them, and my best friend is due with baby #2 any day now...I am totally giving her that box.

2) Makeup- 6 year old makeup is really bad. Throw it out and buy some new.

3) I have had 2 glasses of wine, and it seriously took me forever to type this without typos. I guess there are no typos. :)

Too funny! I watched the video twice and laughed out loud. You two are so cute together. It's nice to see such a great relationship example :) Enjoy your clean kitchen...it looks so shiny!

Mrs. F., I have been running around like a chicken with my head cut off and have missed days of nastiness???? Directed at you and your lovely home??? Well...you and your husband laughing on this video was all I needed to see, who cares if the house is clean? Your kids are fed, happy, healthy and strong and you two find time to laugh together...a sign of someone I am glad to know.

Mrs.F, I adore you and your sweet family, you make me smile and think every day and you have inspired me to work out at odd hours of the night...I will always check in, I will always comment, if I have something useful to say, and I will always respect that you are a person with feelings that are fragile, just like mine...

...and by the way, my mom went into convusions from taking expired medicine. The minute something goes bad I throw it down the toilet. I'm glad to hear you disposed of your old stuff!!

The only thing missing in this video was a glimpse of Canine F. That would have made my day utterly perfect! LOL... I love watching the two of you clown around.

Mr. F, the kitchen looks AMAZING!! Nicely done!

Mrs. F, way to go on the medicine cabinet! I say keep the shampoo and just don't buy any more until you've used everything in the cabinet. That's what we do. Now if I could just get Hubby to stop bringing home travel-sized bottles from every hotel we visit, I'd be in business.

Hot shawl, btw.

Robin,
LOL... I hope you enjoyed your evening ;)

and done I'm throwing it all out. I think I certainly deserve to have something fresh at this point.

Kiki,
thank you :)

and Jesus Christ! about your mom. I will never take a chance with that again!!! Thanks for the heads up!

and
"you have inspired me to work out at odd hours of the night"
LOL!

Deb,
I had to throw the shampoo out. Because often I stopped using them since they suck in some fashion and I just can't keep the extras around. I've got to start from a clean slate.

and you know that shawl is HOT.

Anon,
thank you :)

Way to go! I'm betting your house looks and feels so much better! I think we are getting ready for a big purge at our house...

Mrs Furious said...

Danielle,
funny enough I think the beginnings of cleaning and purging makes us all a little more stressed... you start to need to purge everything and all the other problem spots are now begging for attention.
If only we could have a few days sans kids we could just get it all done!

hey! it's TOTALLY appropriate for MR. SNOWMAN to be up until April! Dood! My husband drives me nuts because I put all x-mas stuff away but leave all snowman & winter crap out until the snow's gone. It's still Mr. Snowman's TIME until the snow is all gone people! Mr. Easter Bunny...well, yeah - he's gotta go when Easter's over but that's just common cents. Of course I'm sitting here on my butt and my Valentine's crap is still all over the house. We can't do it all, can we?

Mrs Furious said...

Amy,
LOL... what if I told you Mr Bunny is a particularly tasteful and plain white rabbit cookie jar?... I try to play it off like we just LOVE rabbits ;)
