you dont even want to see my backyard. while packing to move, i only kept a minimum, everything else was thrown out the back door to be carried off.. we let people take what they wanted, but havent been back in like 2-3 months...lol

Its fun seeing this without the snow, I think we saw pics of Kid sledding back there. It looks great, I love the trees and greenery, the furniture is arranged perfectly....you're doing great!!!!

I just want to say I'd totally buy your house..

But then I live in a really old bungalow right now, and your deck is bigger than mine!

Your house is really cute. Will you be looking for something in a similar style?

Gigs,
Yes probably. We're both drawn to older homes... and the Craftsman style in particular. Asheville was built up around the same time so there are plenty to choose from. Mr F linked to a house we're looking at on his blog a few posts back. It needs work but it's on a big lot and is a bigger house than ours and has some real potential.

Nutmeg,
SOLD!

Kiki,
Thanks :)

Titus,
"everything else was thrown out the back door to be carried off"
We live off a main street and have been able to take advantage of this as well. As I said to Mr F "who needs freecycle when you live on our block" ;)

Since moving back to Michigan, I've been reminded of the "garbage-picking" that goes on around here. All you do is drag your junk to the curb and it's gone by morning. Cracks me up!

Suzy,
That's funny I've never really thought about it. The only other place I've lived is NYC and it has an equally big "garbage picking" mentality.
