Excellent

I received this email from Kid's preschool yesterday....

"Thursday parents: Your children may have been exposed to hand-foot-and-mouth disease last Thursday."

Of course Thursday was the "Preschool Olympics" and since I was manning an event I had Baby with me.

Congrats on the undercover toy removal mission. Dh and I do this every few months and the kids hardly ever notice...and after a few weeks of being "stored" in the basement and no one noticing, its off to be donated!

Hang in there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh LORD! How nice to have that little happy email! I hope you all stay healthy!

Our school sends out paper notes with the kids...which means, you may NEVER receive it. :P

You are doing GREAT with your cleaning/throwing/staging of the house, PLUS all your MOM daily duties. :)

Stay strong friend. Soon you'll be to the fun part...house hunting. :)

I love how Kid corrected you when you started out with "folks" instead of "people".

Holy crap Mrs. F! I can't believe how much stuff you've gotten rid of and how much you've managed to accomplish in such a short period of time! Kudos, seriously.

Now go take a nap already!!

What. The. Fuck?

Hopefully those germs were over by the water balloon toss, and not the bins of water for the ladel race Baby was playing with the whole time...

MR F,
since EVERY kid took a turn holding the damn ladle and spoon I think we stand a pretty high chance of Baby coming down with it.

Marie,
we have done that too... unfortunately we never purge them out of the basement... hence our "issues" down there ;)

Staci,
Thank you... I must say Kid hasn't had a bath in a week... but whatever ;)

Suzy,
I'd take a nap if I didn't have so much stinkin' stuff to do. The good news is next Wed we'll be on vacation at the beach... I just have to make it until then!

Just what you need right now -- sick kids. Oy. My heart goes out to you -- hope everybody stays miraculously healthy!

Oh holy shit.
So you have 3 to 7 days to sit around and wait to see if the viral infection pops up? What a flippin' nightmare.

Hang in there Mrs. F. Hang in there.

Oh god. How awful. Truly, hang in there.

Haley,
Oh I'm praying she was up from teething or something... this I do not need right now.

P.O.M.,
On the bright side I guess I've only got one more day to go and if I don't see the rash we're in the clear...

Heather,
look at all the fun you have waiting for you in the future ;)

oh suckity suck with the hand/foot/mouth disease.

You'll get through this...it's hellish now i know.

The good news is that if she's got it, it only lasts 24 hours, then the hell ends. She'll stop eating, she'll cry constantly. It's really fun. I hope she's clean.

Back later for the video.

Oh! Carolyn had this when we lived in California (So, she was, like 18mo) we always joked that it was the reason she was so irritable.

I think it may have given her immunity to chicken pox though, so that's a plus?

Seriously, cruddy.

Ugh, my sister just went through this with her son...they had to stay away from others for a day or two and then he was back to normal!!!

And Elizabeth, my mom thought that my 3 sisters and I were immune to chicken pox, until my third sister brought them home and I was 21 with the chicken pox...which went into shingles....it was the third ring of hell, oh and we didn't have medical insurance so my mom couldn't take us to the doctor...fun...good...times. Of course we laugh about it now!

Mrs.F, tonight its health I'm wishing for you and the Furious clan!!!

Mrs Furious said...

Elizabeth,
I don't know if it causes the immunity or not... kids all get vaccinated for chicken pox now... so who knows?

Andrea,
I hope so too... only time will tell. She was so crabby last night but she's cutting molars and it is hard to tell what's going on in her mouth.

Kiki,
Thanks for the well wishes! :)

Deb,
I definitely don't relish the idea of crazy clingy baby... I just don't have time for that right now... I'm hoping we come out alright. Kid had it when she was very little so she didn't complain much. Baby is a wee more intense ;)

Julie,
I'm also through the really bad part of the packing... I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I'm off to bed.
