Just In Case You Missed This The First Time Around

I put THIS up last year. It's the story of the armed robbery we had the great misfortune to stumble upon two years ago. That year was a rough, rough, year. And I will say that the top 3 worst days of my life happened in a very short time span. Its a tough call but I'm placing this in as the 2nd worst day of my life.

The 1st seizure was #1 since I thought she had died... but it's a tough call because during the hold up I thought they could have been held hostage and shot... so,,,

3rd is the 2nd seizure

4th is finding out my stepdad left

that's where I stopped ranking ;)

Oh seriously we need to have a reality show! How funny would that be?! The Mormon viewership alone would put our rating through the roof ;)

That was one bad day for sure.

Did your stepdad leave recently? I don't know why I am asking really you don't have to elaborate if you don't want. Well, I do know why I am asking...it's because, well, I am nosy. There, I said it.

Julie,
He left when I was 14.
Stuff like that wouldn't bother me now... I'm dead inside ;)

I want you to know that we got the paper yesterday and there was a coupon for Buschs stuck on the front page. N got excited about it, but I told him we have to give it to my parents since they go to a different Buschs. I'm too freaked to go there because of your story.

Sorry you're still thinking about this. I think Asheville must be safer!

Since we're on topic, it's the anniversary of the worst day of your life next week, right? The 13th? And this is a big anniversary, right? Because it might mean that there's no chance of epilepsy?

Mrs Furious said...

Yep.

We already started weaning the meds this week.
That process takes a month and then we'll see what happens.

It's either the best thing or worst. Only time will tell on that front. If she remains seizure free off meds ... by the summer we can start to hope she's in the seizure free category.

Glad to hear Ruby is being weaned. Please keep us up to date on how it goes. I will be crossing my toes that it goes perfectly.

Hope you feel better soon.

Torey,
Seeing as the dollar store has bars all over the windows and doors...I'm not so sure about the safer part ;)

I can't go back and read that, because it made me cry when I read it last year. Although I admit I was excited to learn Kid's name from that story, because I fell in love with it instantly. She has inspired one of the names on our list of potential baby names for the little girl!

Deb,
Ruby is a rockin name. I always thought of it as a brunette name (kind of shocked I didn't give birth to any)... but you've got a better chance on that front ;)

Ok. . . so maybe stay clear of the dollar store. Pretty sure Earth Fare is pretty safe. Also, there is a KICK ASS Chinese place next to it.

Oh, and that BBQ place right on the corner by the BP is AWESOME too. But definitely, carry out, not dine in.

Wait, what was this post about? I'm so pregnant.

Mrs Furious said...

Torey,
good to know... we were wondering if that BBQ joint was any good.

I remember cause the 13th is my birthday. Of course I'm hoping things go great sans meds.

I have a zillion breastfeeding questions I shall email you now.

Hope you're feeling better.

And finding out Ruby's name led me to my favorite name, which is Lucy, and then to Lucia, which has the Scandinavian twist. :) Very inspiring.

Holy cow... it seems we have someone in common, although I don't know what the connection is yet. But she just reminded me that Baby's name is also on our list (and a top contender, I might add). I either wasn't aware of that or forgot it!

Mrs Furious said...

Deb,
In real life we know someone in common?

Interesting...

both great names :)

Oh, silly... no. I think it's just another internet friend we have in common. ;)
