Late last night, after the kids were in bed, Mr F and I transformed ourselves deep into character.
Mr F was clearly Huron and was menacingly wielding a wooden dragon as a tomahawk.
Mrs F, one of The Last Of The Mohicans, was displaying her mad cliff jumping skills as she hurled herself off the ottoman attacking Mr F with her long bladed ax (arms).
You know when you were a kid and you were lying in bed not wanting to fall asleep because you were afraid you were missing out on all the fun. Well our kids actually are.
And, believe me, I'm sorry there is no video.

OH my god...hysterical!! Soo...who was the victor???
(dh always wins with us...he resorts to sitting on me or holding me down..i say its cheating but he insists its fair in battle!)
It depends who you ask ;)
The fact that he is factually stronger than me really pisses me off. But I am more agile.
whatever happens I will find you !!!
In a non-roleplaying, not at all sexy context but rather a 'carrying heavy things' context I am coming to terms with the fact that I am not and never will be stronger than guys who are smaller than me. Even if I work out lots.
Sigh.
Elizabeth,
That's a pisser. Seriously that does piss me off.
Oh and our war party fight wasn't sexy either... I believe Mr F said I looked like a "retarded turkey".
Feener,
Mr F didn't really want to watch it, and had never seen it before, but in the end he could not deny how good it was.
Yes, I remember when it was being filmed.
I have never in my life been hit on by so many buff men with Mohawks.
Sadly I didn't get to see or meet Mr Lewis.
My BIL was an extra in the movie BTW. The one you met here when you were over.
Supermom,
Interesting!
Somehow this talk of lots of buff men with mohawks reminds me of the casting director for the Lord of the Rings: "I just got so tired of looking at these tall slim gorgeous young men. They were all too beautiful. It really does get boring"
What a tough job. *Snerk*
Mr F didn't really want to watch it
That's NOT true—I expected it to be good. I was worried it would be too long, and I wanted to watch Pan's Labyrinth before it got bounced from the TiVo—which it had.
Ohhh... one of my favorite movies AND soundtracks. I think you should re-enact your battle scene, add music and videotape it this time for us.
Deb,
Believe me, I tried to make that happen this morning!
give me time...
